Hello! My fiancé and I got our K-1 approved about a month ago! We are working on our next steps, and I really need some guidance. (Morocco to US) Here is what we have done so far: - He has started gathering his documents (police/court papers, birth certificate, passport photos, evidence of relationship) and is working on securing translations to English. - He filed his DS-160 form and paid the fee earlier today. (It sounds like we wait one day, and then he can use the receipt number to schedule his interview.) My questions: 1) How does the Form I-134 work? (proof of financial support.) I have the form and am ready to fill it out (as the petitioner.) But once I do that and get the evidence that goes with it, where do I submit it once it’s filled out? Or does he just need to take a signed copy of it with him to his interview? 2) Do I just need my tax return? Or do I also need the letter from my job, and my bank, etc? It’s not clear to me what evidence is required. 3) The K-1 was approved, and I said it would take “several weeks” for NVC to mail our petition to the consulate in Morocco.. he hasn’t received anything in the mail from them. Are we doing things out of order?? 4) Where does the medical exam come in? When does he need to do that? 5) Does this all sound right? Or are we missing anything important? Any advice would help!
