  1. From Reddit and other groups I follow, I haven't head of anytone past April 8th getting their IL yet. Stay positive They haven't skip you. I'm crossing my fingers that you'll receive it on the next batch (Which we do not know when it will be, unfortunately).
  2. My husband and I got the email. So I believe you should also receive it
  3. They seem to have covered a bigger range of days. From Reddit and a facebook messenger group I'm on, the latest DQ date we've seen is April 8th. Congrats @MySelf23!!
  4. I'm glad you got your IL! that doesn't give you guys a lot of time to plan it all! I hope all goes smoothly for you and your spouse
  5. Congrats!!! That's awesome! Make sure you go an add a review of the consulate/update your timeline
  6. It takes a few day after the website updates before they send the IL. Last month, it took like 2 weeks. I'll cross my fingers that you get your IL on this batch!
  7. Oh I’m relieved. I got my letter this morning instead of yesterday!! DQ March 12. My interview is on sept 4
  8. That’s an understatement lol. I’m heartbroken. I really hope I didn’t get skipped and will be part of the next batch
  9. I was DQ March 12 and didn’t get a letter 🥲 I didn’t know they split days.
  10. What makes you think you received anything by mail? As far as I know, all communication is done by email now (even if they still call everything a letter) This thread may help you:
  11. It seems to be done per batch, per visa type. But I don't know really. I wouldn't get my hopes high I don't know how long EB2 are. I don't usually follow this thread as I'm IR1 but I thought I'd check to see if EB2 got letters today lol.
  12. Not a troll. I'm on some facebook groups too and each of them had a CR1/IR1 get their IL today. One was DQ March 5 and the other March 6
  13. As far as I know, you have a year to import the vehicle. I may be wrong tho. You'd have to check with the company who provided you the loan for your car to see if they accept you use the car in the US for an extended time. I know when I had a leased car, there was a specification in my lease saying that I was not allowed to use it outside Quebec for more than 30 consecutive days. If I was to, I needed a letter showing that my leaser approved my trip. (Kinda wild but I understand why they need to do that). I do not know the cost of importing your car. (I know I can't import mine so I'm just going to sell it)
  14. I'm right there with you. Although, I would not expect IL for March 2024 DQ in May. They released some IL on May 9th and as far as I know, they barely covered 2 weeks (Like Feb 22 to 27). There's also a lot of people who were left behind who finally got their IL (I've seen someone who was DQ in Nov 2023 that finally got their IL in May).
  15. It shows the "at nvc" too. Which I'm assuming is still true since the consulat provide the interview dates to the NVC who then email us with it. I might be wrong but I believe the next status is "ready" and that's only when we have our interview letter. I read on here and reddit that they are not very good at updating the status and some people have their visa on hand and it still shows "at nvc". I wouldn't give it too much attention tbh
  16. From what I saw on Reddit, some people did in fact received their IL today. (I haven't but my DQ date is March 12th, so I'm not really surprised)
