Hey, Came to the US a while ago, I am a naturalized US citizen. My Hungarian passport is due to expire sometimes next year and wondering how to renew it. My main concerns that I am sure I did not declared that I moved to the US and the bigger concern is that I am gay and married to a US citizen. Does the passport application form asks about it? Sure I did not register the marriage and for sure I think it is impossible since Hungary does not recognize gay marriage. Sure I can use my US passport to enter Hungary, but I think as a citizen of Hungary I would need to use a Hungarian passport at the border control when entering Hungary. Hungarian gays (or anybody who has some kind of experience about this were gay married is not allowed and the goverment wants to know your marital status before renewing your passport) pls unite and let me know if you were able to renew your passport while married to a man in the US.
