Hi, I am currentely filing the petition 130 with 485 and 765, 131 for my mother and I have a question about placing the evidence. Should I place the evidence after each form or just place all evidence at the end, because, for example, form 130 and 485 tgether need a passport of beneficiary and information about legal name change, so I am confused where to put the passport copy, after 130 or after 485. Short description of the situation: two month ago I filed i-130 with 485 for my unmarried under 21 y.o. son and I did it with the help of attorney, he included my mother's maiden name for her last name in petition i-130, information about me, petitioner and he said that it is usual practice for them. Now I am filing i-130 for my mother and do not know which last name to include in the same question, also her maiden name or her last name as in the documents, because later there is information about beneficiary and I have to include her recent last name first. What should I do: either leave her maiden name as my attorney did, or change it for her last name? Thank you!

yes, she used a new passport and on her form 94 is also a new passport info but with old passport's visa. Should I then indicate in a cover letter why did I attached a copy of old passport? Thank you!

Hi everyone, I am US citizen, and I am filing i-130 together with i-485 for my mother, she is in USA now and have a question in i-485 part 1. She has two passports, one is new and one is invalid but it contains visa. There is a question in form i-485 "Passport Number used at last arrival", so I indicated her new passport and then they ask a "visa number from this passport", should I write here her visa number from old passport or leave it empty, I am confused? I am preparing the package for my mother (i-130, i-485, ect.) and my birth certificate is on foreign language,I translated it 10 years ago, it contains certified translator's Surname and Signature, but do not have date and information about translator (address, contact). Would you recommend to make a new translation with all this information or the one I have is good. Hello! I have a question and I really need help. Apparentely I filed a petition 2 month ago for my 20 year old son, we filed i-130 together with i-485. They are still processing, now I am filing the forms for my mother and I do not understand several things: First, what should I write in form i-130 part 5 in question: "Have you ever filed petition for this beneficiary or any other relative". On the one hand this is related to me, but they are asking for the result, while we do not have it yet. After it there is a section: "If you are also submitting separate petitions for other relatives, provide the names of and your relationship to each relative". While on the one hand it is also can be related, but I did it two month ago, I do not understand which field exactly I should fill out. Another related issue is with form i-864, part 5, how should I indicate my son in my houshold: as number 4-"dependent child" or number 6-"if you have ever sponsored any other persons on the for i-864 who are now lawful permanent residents". I am sponsoring my child but he is not permanent resident yet. I will be grateful for any help with these issues. Thank you!
