  1. It was 18 months when we first applied so am definitely glad to see the interview wait time decrease. My issue is we got the DQ message in March and now when I logged into the NVC site again I got an indicator under the CIVIL DOCUMENTS section that docs were incomplete. The NVC system message system does not have a message that I need to submit a civil document again and the last message from them shows the case is DQ. So I have submitted the same doc they say is missing again and am now waiting. It still says we are DQ and all the other docs civil\financial are marked ACCEPTED.
  2. I will do my best to provide clearer context. Timeline - Feb 27th 2025 NVC requests a civil document #1, document submitted 1-2 days later. - March 10th 2025 receive message stating "All required applicant documents have been received and approved - Documentarily Qualified" - March 10th receive an email indicating the same, we are DQ and the case is being sent to the embassy to schedule the interview. - Logged into the NVC site July 6th 2025 and there are no new messages on the site however in the APPLICATION INFORMATION section the CIVIL DOCUMENTS section is marked "Incomplete", when I navigate to the CIVIL DOCUMENTS section is indicates that the civil documents #1 is being requested AGAIN, it was almost like it was never the NVC never got it. At this time I have submitted the civil document #1 again, no updates since, no new messages and it still shows the case was DQ as of the original March date. I know a lot of people have a variety of issues with this site, everything from logging on or submitting\uploading docs, so this is just another glitch and we are still good and our case is still DQ as of the March date originally reported.
  3. So my wife’s case was at the NVC in feb 2025 and they asked for additional docs, i submitted them after which look like they accepted the doc and i got a message saying we were DQ. now this was march 2025. so we are waiting for the Interview date, the other day I decide to login to the NVC just to see if there’s anything to see and what I saw confused me. i see the original message saying that the case has been DQ as of march however they are indicating they need the same additional document they previously asked for; the same doc they asked for previously, that I uploaded they reviewed and accepted and DQd the case. I got no email indicating the NVC wanted me to submit additional documents and again she’s DQ according to the message in the NVC system. So my question is what’s going on? 1 has anyone had a this kind of an experience? 2 how did they deal with it? 3 what was the outcome. appreciate any insight and experience anyone can share
  4. So expect to submit it with the ds260? That’s what I thought thank u
  5. Am submitting a ds 260 form for my wife for her cr1. Should I go ahead and get a police certificate now to be submitted with the other civil documents OR after the ds260 is submitted \approved? im pretty certain it’s now so it’s submitted with the ds260 but id rather be clear and do it correctly than take a misstep. thank you in advance for your help
  6. So I emailed a few embassies and only 1 responded and informed they are not accepting transfer requests at this time but went on to say they are not accepting transfer requests unless the applicant is a resident of the country. The other countries did not respond. I will email the NVC and other embassies and report back if I hear anything different. Thanks for sharing your experience,
  7. For clarification my message was autocorrected I did not mean to type "when it Allah goes to" it was supposed to be "when it all goes to" Hope my mistype has not offended anyone and apologies if it did.
  8. I have submitted an I-130 and am getting documents ready for the next stage when it Allah goes to the NVC however I have a question. My spouses Pakistani birth certificate is a B form written in the Urdu language. I'm being told by people that because it's an older form NADRA can't update it to the new English and Urdu form. Pls note I'm being told this by people not by NADRA. Can someone who has had to deal with such an issue in Pakistan tell me how did they handle it and satisfy the I 130 application and the NVC requirements. Did they get NADRA to update it with the new English\Urdu form? Did you get it translated privately in Pakistan and submit that? Did you have someone in the US translate it and then submit it? Are there any other options? Thanks in advance for ur help.
  9. Has anyone requested such a move successfully or unsuccessfully? If you could share your experience that would be much appreciated.
  10. My understanding is that to transfer an IR\CR case to an embassy in another country other than the beneficiary's home country they need to be a resident in this other country. Meaning you need to reside in this other country and not just be a tourist visiting. Someone I chatted with is insisting that you can ask your IR\CR interview\case be transferred to any country as long as you are able to visit the other country and you can do this if the beneficiary's home country has a backlog of cases. For example if the beneficiary is an Indian citizen and the US embassy in India has a huge backlog for IR\CR interviews you can get your case transferred to Kuwait which has a shorter wait time for an interview. I am quite certain that is not the case, you in fact have to be a resident of Kuwait and not a tourist to get the case transferred to Kuwait from India. Can someone confirm if I am correct or if this other person is correct? Thanks in advance.
  11. @Redro Can thank you enough for you and this community as a whole for the response to my query and the relevant info. You are all rockstars cheers. Quick follow up for @appleblossom or anyone for that matter. How do you get an applicaiton for an I-130 updated so when the NVC sends the file to the embassy they send it to the UAE embassy instead of the Pakistan embassy? Should I do this ASAP or after the NVC receives it? I have looked and cant seem to find a way to see what the timeline is for the UAE US embassy to process IR\I-130 applications\interviews? Thank you all

  13. Appreciate the confirmation @appleblossom
  14. This question is for anyone who has submitted an IR app for a Pakistani beneficiary. Does anyone know if the IR (I-130) interview occurs in KArachi as well or is it only in Islamabad? Thanks in advance.
  15. Got it thanks @Boiler I dont remember there being anything on the I -130 asking if she has a residents permit or permanet residencey for another country am I wrong? Even if she does have a PR for another country I would think it makes no difference to her I-130 application except the embassy the NVC would send her applicaiton\interview info.
  16. @boiler Thank you so much for your response. Due to the embassy appointment wait time for Pakistan taking longer than the time for the I-130 to be approved I am with you it is a no brainer to move her app to the US Embassy in the UAE. Ill reach out to the USCIS and see about updating her residence. Ill share my experiences as I have updates to share.
  17. Of course. So to make sure I am correct in my understanding. With her being on a residents permit in the UAE I should be able to move her case to the UAE embassy. Since the UAE embassy doesnt appear to have the backlog issue tht the Pakistan embassy does then the US Embassy in the UAE should be able to give her an earlier interview date. Follow up question, I have already submitted her I-130 how do move her case to the UAE US Embassy? Second follow up question, her having a UAE residents permit should not have any impact on her I-130 application correct? I dont recall them asking about it anywhere on the I-130. Thank you
  18. a residents permit is essentially like a green card for the UAE i believe.
  19. Thanks everyone who responded with info I really do appreciate it. Follow up question if my spouse (who I am sponsoring) moves to another country UAE can we move her case to the embassy in the UAE and would that speed up the process in any way? Thanks
  20. Hi everyone Thank you to all who are taking the time to read the question and big thanks if you are able to provide any helpful insight\information. So I submitted the I-130 for my wife and currently it says that it states is the Application is currently being reviewed by the USCIS. I was wondering would it possible at this time to have my wife apply for a visit visa in the US and come to the US; additionally is she did apply and was given a visit visa would it impact the I-130 submitted for her in a negative way. Thanks in advance for your help.
  21. I agree, I am reading and re reading everyything including what I have filled in over again to ensure that nothing gets lost or incorrectly filled. Want to do this 1 time and be done with hopefully no kickback for RFE Fingers crossed. You guys have also been a great source of information and really am thankful for that @Chancy and @Ara Burton
  22. Thank you @pushbrk @Chancy the native langage is URDU which is based on arabic script which is not based on the Roman Alphabet. So I took your suggestion and uploaded the national ID card used in PAkistan which has her name and address in the native language.
  23. It is not roman letter based, so do you have any suggestions as to what kind of document would be sufficient? HEr passport? Thank you
  24. @Chancy I take it your comments about ignoring the section applies to both the "official statement" and the "native language" sections? I have attached my US passport and nat certificate, englsh language marriage certificate and US divorce decree. Thank you again for your lightning quick response.
