if you already paid before , should have an IOE number i.e receipt number , log in my USCIS account to find it ,then call USCIS to link your visa # avoid paying twice ?

Hello everyone, I have my brief time line to share as well: 09/14/2023, interviewed; 07/05/2024, medical & passport request email received; 07/15/2024, the documents sent to MTL consulate; 07/29/2024, the passport with visa received. No WOM, 3 inqury emails sent total, each one every other 3 months. Hope all here have more good news coming soon ! @Superluminal could you please update my TL in tracker sheet ? Thanks!

Hello, you meant received the confirmation email from MTL consular section or just from the courier ? to acknowledge of receiving passport.

Panel doctors actually upload medical report to NVC website which IV applicants submit documents to, but they as third party. After doctor sent report, check CEAC status tracker, another update date shown. I found it last year.

I heard that one year nothing, but after two year will expired. the case closed and do again pettion from USCIS.

Nope, point 3 said challenges faced: human ( still 37 ?),budget limit, other agencies tied hands. They use efforts to find visa ineilgibilities....😔

Definitely, they use information from DS-5535 to send queries to different departments , FBI, CBP, EOIR,DOS, ....more updates, more waiting time,until all feedback.

It seems that your case just pending in MTL consulate level, quite predictable I guess,not involved external DS-5535 long wait processing..............

It should be I-797 approval action notice. As you applied the second petition to USCIS, due to only one IV case allowed, so the Consulate will cancel your DS-260 and return the case to USCIS. Fiy

It is hardly to say the success rate, but at least WOM has somehow impact to remedy the process I think. If you have capacity: money to hire lawyer or writing skill to file WOM online at local E-court system by yourself , with sound gounds , to convince judge stand by you.

It is not strange that if you met a junior VO / CO , he / she wont take a very little risk then escalate the case to DS-5535 pool at DC headquarters. According to US government manual guide, VO/CO issues visa at own judgement if applicant without any hardcore issues. Why consulate in Mexico has few DS-5535 / AP cases , every month more than 2000 IV visas issued ? You will have an answer in mind ?

Congratulations first!! For reason over the hump, I am prone to believing that WOM working rather than security check cleared. Nowdays big data time,DS-5535 clears in 1 hour ,as 4 or 5+ times updates shown on CEAC status tracker after it was submitted. As to SAO, security advisoy opinion is just a reference, CO/VO has his/her own decision.

it will show expiring date, such as Jan,xx,2025. DS-260 valid for 2 years , After that date , need to do apply pettetion from bottom again, ie.submit application to USCIS, my uderstanding

Also, IV application DS-260 valid for 2 years , can find the expiring date from NVC login. Whereas NIV,can apply again after denied to avoid some tough Consulates.
