  1. They work pretty fast. Finger crossed you get approved soon.
  2. No it's not a dream. Congrats! I got mine approved on Tuesday 23.59. So my update is: I-129F sent: 11.30.2023 I-129F received: 12.01.2023 I-129F noticed (NOA1): 12.05.2023 I-129F approved: (NOA2): 04.16.2024 Case Sent to NVC: 04.17.2024
  3. Everyone says something different. I'm just more confused now. Is there any way to close this? I also don't know why I have to explain myself why I fly to Canada.
  4. There is no direct flight and because it is close to the state we need to reach. We have both had several bad experiences in the past when flying to the East Coast. One ended with over 30 hours of bus travel with multiple changes etc.
  5. Ok so I guess we have to get one way tickets so we can fly back together. Toronto sounds good. A layover of 4-5 hours there should be enough I guess?!
  6. Hmmm. Now I'm very confused. From what I understand, ***removed*** gets its information from USCIS. And here it is only as accurate as the community members update their timeline, which is rather imprecise. And what was important to me was whether I could go through the immigration process at the airport already in Canada before I enter the US. Since my fiancé lives relatively close to the border, it would be a good idea.
  7. ****removed**** Yes I wait until the visa is approved. The problem is, I read that if I booked the same flight as my fiancé but was only there on the return trip, they would add the difference to a one-way ticket or not let me fly at all. But it's good to know that I can also go through the immigration process at the Canadian airport.
  8. Hello, if we can rely on TMVN, we would - assuming the visa is approved - be through with everything around August/September. My partner will then come to me from the USA. We then want to fly back together and I want to immigrate. Despite research, we couldn't figure out how to do this. Does every airport have a POE for immigration and do they also provide this in Canada for the US? We would come from Germany. And my second question is, if my fiancé books a Flight US-Germany-US, can I book a one way ticket for the same flight? We want to be on the same plane of course :-).
  9. USCIS received our Petition Dec 1st. The NOA1 (Date Dec 5th) took another 3 weeks until we got the mail. So there's a good chance you will receive it until next week.

  11. Yes I'm the Benificiary. Thank you
  12. Hello, the above points ask for I-94 and passport details, but it says in advance: "If your benificiary is currently in the United States, complete Item Numbers 38.a.-38.h" Does that mean I don't need to fill it out since I'm currently in Germany? Thanks
