  1. Hi @appleblossom, how do we come to know if the quota for current year has been reached for certain visa category, is this something updated somewhere by DOS? And also, does this relate to all EB categories or separately for EB1, EB2, EB3 etc?...Thanks & regards.
  2. Hi All, Does anyone has experienced longer Administrative process issue recently at London embassy and eventually how much approximate time it could take? We had our interview in 1st week of Feb 24 but still its under admin process with status still showing as refused. I checked with Embassy last week and they said nothing more is required from our end but this is their internal process. Now, we are stuck as our passports were kept by Embassy which resulted in loss of lots of Annual leave days for myself and my wife which we kept for some planned holidays during Easter break but eventually wasted as we cant carry forward those to next financial year. Shall we ask embassy to return our passports as kids are really frustrated being unable to travel anywhere and perhaps they are right in a way that they don't understand this whole process. Does, this impact visa decision if we request them to return our passports (has anyone done this before and had eventually got Visa later). Thanking you for your time and feedback. Kind regards.
  3. Hi everyone, Appreciate if someone please, based on their recent experience can give some basic tips on US embassy London inside steps and how we can best organize ourselves for Visa interview day in terms of documents etc. Is it better and advisable to organize documents in a proper file with divider etc and we can handover the file itself or we need to handover these as & when asked about each specific one? Also, if the original docs are already handed over to a staff before heading to visa officer? For any additional docs which were not part of those earlier submitted to NVC eg. any additional Work Experience or New Academic qualification, should we keep it with us and handed it over to visa officer while talking to him during interview about those things? Can we carry our back pack with documents files to Embassy? Any other helpful tips for interview day would be appreciated. Thanks & kind regards,
  4. Hi All, Appreciate if someone can please advise about DS-260 Number? While Registering our Visa Interview Appointment, we need to enter DS-260 Number, so I am not sure which number to refer from DS-260 confirmation page, whether its the DS-260 case number (same for all family members) or we should use DS-260 confirmation number (which is different for each family member)? Appreciate urgent feedback as I am in-between completing my registration. Kind regards,
  5. Hi @appleblossom thanks for your feedback. Well, I am not in any hurry, however, just am curious to know if someone have had rescheduled Interview in recent past in London embassy and in how much time we can expect another IL where the case is documentarily complete with NVC since 2021. I mean since I already have IL, and by requesting NVC to reschedule, will my case me put as a fresh case or still usually they put you in queue based on your date of actually being documentarily qualified? Appreciate feedback if someone has been through similar situation recently. Cheers and have a nice holiday season..
  6. Yes, I sent and awaiting their feedback but generally they dont comment on these thing and simply provide link to FAQs to read
  7. Hi All, Appreciate if someone can advise as we have received an interview appointment for 5th of Jan however, when checked with Visa Medicals, they dont have any appointment before 10th of Jan and results can only be available by 24th Jan at present. So, is it advisable to still attend the interview even without Medical Results & Police Certificate which too is still in process as they are currently not providing any premium service (2 days) but standard service which may take upto 30 days. Do absence of these docs can result in automatic rejection of visa or we should wait and reschedule appointment. I am really confused as what to do, would appreciate if someone has been through similar situation and what's the implication. Thanks & regards
  8. Thanks @snm2212, so inca, if its not received, can we request to reschedule even before a aday or two of the interview and also if you can please advise on Medical test, does that remain valid for certain period even if we have to reschedule our interview, thanks & regards
  9. Hi All, I got IL for 5th Jan, however, the police clearance certificate from UK would take time as they said they are no more processing those on premium basis but only standard which may take more than 30 days. Appreciate if someone has been in similar situation and whats advise, shall I request to defer my interview or I should attend and inform them of this being in process. Since, I moved my file from UAE, so UK certificate was not requested as the case has ben pending since 2021 in UAE. But, I believe, its better to go with all required documents for immediate decision, any advice please, kind regards,
  10. Thanks @Ali1999, Appreciate your feedback. I will try and request and hope it would work as I am Resident of the UK and can provide them with proof of residency etc along with my request. kind regards.
  11. Hi Ali999, Appreciate if you can please advise, how do we need to approach US embassy in London to request for transfer of case. As I checked, its only an online enquiry form available to contact them for immigration visas. But, how do we share our proof of residency etc and other documents with them, enabling Embassy to approve our request. Did you requested through same online form or there is some other way we can contact them and send our request? Thanks for your kind feedback.
  12. Well, I believe you are supposed to be Resident of the UK before you can request US Embassy in London to transfer our case to the UK.
  13. Thanks for your valuable feedback, yes, it does make sense because 2 years waiting time I believe is far too longer than in London.
