  1. The person I spoke to at Visa Medicals was relaxed about it and said that I could change/cancel the appointment without charge if I gave three working days' notice. Like you say, you probably just need to get the right staff member on the phone. It makes sense to get an appointment secured, considering that you can always rearrange without penalty!
  2. You can book your medical appointment before you receive your IL.
  3. If there's no way of replacing your lost vaccine record, you should try to get as many vaccines as possible done before the visa medical. There's a limit to how many vaccines you can have on the same day! I think the flu vaccine is the only one that you need to have had this year... the rest are all long-term (e.g., a dose every decade), so there's no risk of getting them too early. You just need to ensure that you bring the record to your medical appointment.
  4. That's a pain re: the rescheduling! We got it this morning, too — interview on 6 December. 😊
  5. It's an email, just like the DQ notice. I'm waiting for the interview letter too (DQ on October 4) — hoping that it's not much longer now! 🤞
