Coming back to the original query, is it alright if i get paid from my dad's personal acc and not from company acc and still show a payslip on the company letter head of the same? We own a small medium scale business and i am on a manager visa there

Yes but what if i get asked about the source of the salary paycheck? Also i was thinking of excluding the check number from the pay slip, so as to not cause confusion

Thank you for all your suggestions and comments so finally if i m gonna enter my wife's maiden name in the other names column which i missdd out ten years ago and i have the proper employment join date also, just hope i dont get a refusal

You might be right but ever since i got a refusal for uk for not filling the income and expenses details they ask in the form, i am a little apprehensive about things. Obviously the us embassy functions differently and i have also heard on occasions they dont even check the bank statements but i dont wanna take a chance abt the mode of salary payment since its a check coming from my father's personal account. I do have regular deposits of those checks monthly with payslips on the company letter head.

I have a query abt the mode of salary payment i receive every month. So its a family business and my dad's the co owner of the firm. i get my paycheck from my father's personal account every month which i deposit in my savings account. So can i get a salary slip from the company and show payment mode as cheque? Will this scenario be acceptable by the embassy?

The reason m asking is coz i got refused for a uk visa 2 yrs ago n i know its coz i dint mention in the form i had savings and that created some misunderstanding which lead to refusal. Fortunately the ds 160 doesn't have such income and expenses questions.

I have a decent salary of 900bd (2393$)on a sales manager designation in a family business firm since 2012. Is it alright if i hv a balance close to 45k bd ( 119k$)in my acc? I have saved over the years staying jointly with my parents Are these good factors for visa approval?

Ok.... i found my date of join but abt my wife's name will it be a problem if i enter it this time because i dont remember entering it ten year prior

Also can anyone help me with the other names section on the first page? Does it apply to a different first name or last name previously , in our case my wife had a different last name before we got married. most indian women change last names after marriage. Also previously when i filled the form a decade ago i dont remember whether i entered anything in the other names column.

So filling in the g639 form isnt a potential issue even though its not for non immigrats? I just hope its not an issue if this is shared with the us embassy

So they dont compare all the information entered with precious application as u said ? So i cant enter whatever date i remember for date of join for employment? I just dont remember what i mentioned previously and i have been in my dad's firm for the last 15yrs

Hi everyone, i dont remember the date of join which i mentioned in the ds 160 ten yrs ago when i applied for b2 visa. I remember putting an estimate but however now i checked records and found my work visa in Bahrain was stamped on 20 march 2012. My query is that will all the data be matched with my previous application as to what i mentioned ten years ago in the ds 160? And if there r any differences will it be an issue ? Also my wife had a different surname prior to marriage so should i mention it on her application too when asked if known by any other names ever? Again i dont remember if i entered her maiden name in the form a decade earlier.

Yes but only if its a security concern i think. Also i read that g639 can be used by non immigrants too for checking their records and its legal. And the requests r kept confidential. The embassy has nothing to do with this part of the system as per chatgpt

I guess ur right. But will the us embassy know this and if they do wont it concern them as to y i was at the citizenship site.? Although freedom of information act under uscis does allow access to information on records but for immigrants i guess. Anyhow how will all this impact my future b2 applications

Yes i know that bro but i cant help it. I think i made a mistake goin to uscis website and hoping it doesnt have any impacts in my future b2visa application. chatgpt and gemini from google said us embassy and uscis arent sharing any info between them although they r part of the department of state and homeland security. Also uscis doesnt share such info which is confidentiality asked.
