  1. Hello All, Thanks to all of you that posted responses to my questions. Cheers!
  2. Hello, Does anyone know when the US are likely to get rid of the vaccine requirement for the medical? On the USCIS website it states the following: Q. What will happen if I refuse to receive one or all of the required vaccines? A. Tell the civil surgeon if you do not wish to receive the required vaccines or a particular vaccine. You should also tell the civil surgeon the reason you do not wish to receive the vaccine(s). In this case, a waiver may be available to you, but only under the following circumstances: You are opposed to all vaccinations in any form– a waiver may not be granted if you only object to specific vaccinations; Your objection must be based on religious beliefs or moral convictions; and The religious or moral beliefs must be sincere. Regarding the moral convictions, how likely do you think that these are accepted? Does this mean that if I book the medical in London, and then present my case to the doctor performing the medical, if they believe my reasoning to genuine, sincere and moral, then they will grant me a waiver? Thanks!
  3. Hello, Thanks for the info. When I go to that page, I am met with the following statement Your account is pending deletion. Please check your email and click the link in it for confirmation. Cancel This is great, but when I go to my email and follow the link, my details are not recognized. I am still able to log-in and use the site as normal when logging in using my details on a new link from Google.
  4. Hello, I'm posting here so that I can get this actioned. Ticket ID - 315642 As the title indicates, I need to delete my account. I would also like all of my data/post, etc. wiped, if possible. I've contacted support@visajourney about a month ago and not got a response. If there is another email that I need to contact, then please do let me know. Kind regards, Mike
  5. Thanks for the info @Crazy Cat & @Boiler This is not a good development! DCF was just an option back when we filed last time; it was so easy and took hardly any time at all. They required no exceptional circumstances or anything... Well, I'll look into DCF a bit more and try and use that route. 18 months must be painful for people trying to get there in a hurry....
  6. Oh really? So DCF is not just a filing option like it was when we filed all those years ago - interesting. If it's just a normal IR1 application, is that done through America, now? If so, how long on average does that take? I understand that the centre that our application is processed is a factor, but what's a rough timeframe; we're in no rush.
  7. Hey @Boiler, Thanks for getting back to me... That's a lot quicker than I expected! So that's an estimate from filing to completion...? You mention changes; what significant changes should I know about DCF since our previous file?
  8. Hey Everyone, I hope you're all doing well... Does anyone have a good estimate on the processing times for the IR1, going through DCF in London? We've been married for over 12 years and have been living in the UK for the majority of that time, so don't expect any complications at all. We successfully processed an IR1 through DCF in London, about 8 years ago... Much appreciated...
