  1. It’s been over a month since the “Case is being actively reviewed” update. I received another similar update on July 24th so now my profile shows the update 3x. Since then, I haven’t heard anything. The documents tab and other information remains the same. Got my hopes up for nothing. Wonder why it’s taking so long!
  2. MyProgress tab was updated! Step 3 (Attend interview) is checked and marked as completed. Guessing no interview needed. Timeline until approval is estimated to now take 4 weeks. Documents tab still displays the same ones that have been there. Fingers crossed it’s almost at the finish line.
  3. Case was updated after 7 months from “Case is being actively reviewed” to… “Case is being actively reviewed.” It seems like people who have gotten this twice received an approval within a few days. Will update if something happens.
  4. Also still waiting. Sucks to see people who filed in 2024 get their GCs before us.
  5. Anyone here use their AP to plan a trip outside the country yet? My partner has a trip back home coming up soon and was curious what the experience at the airport is like for going through security departing and then when returning.
  6. Wow congrats! In my case we applied a dat after your date and also received combo card approval on the same day as you. What is the USCIS office you filed from?
  7. In our case we wrote “ASAP” and got the combo card approved.
  8. Update: the combo card came in our mailbox this afternoon. No tracking number ever came though!
  9. Same boat as you… Card was produced update a few days ago but no USPS tracking number or anything.
  10. Got the physical letter for the combo card approval in the mail now 11 days after the document was uploaded to the USCIS. However, there is still no update on either the EAD or AP applications being marked as completed or something. Still no USPS tracking number or anything either.. Wonder what the hold up is!
  11. Yes, we did the same as you and got a SSN before getting married. I checked yes on the boxes asking if I’d like an updated card on the EAD-AP applications. I’m guessing the new card is related to the combo card being approved? The issued date on the new SSN card is the same day the document was uploaded on the USCIS website for the combo card approval.
  12. In the same situation as you. Combo card was approved last week according to the Documents tab but timeline still hasn’t updated and I have no idea about shipping. I haven’t contacted USCIS about it but we did end up receiving an updated SSN card over the weekend… which doesn’t help really since we need the EAD and AP to arrive.
  13. Seems like people who submitted an application in the last few months receive it faster on average than those who submitted before then. Not sure about your second question, but I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the spouse is from a country that is in good standings with the U.S.
  14. Update on my last one.. We got the combo card approved today! The MyProgress and Case History tabs still show in progress but there was a new file listed under the Documents tab showing it was approved today. Early birthday gift for my wife 😄
  15. They will change all the time. At least mine have been doing so.
  16. Congrats! Seems like more proof that people who decide to do their biometrics earlier than the scheduled date get their EAD processed faster.
  17. Completed biometrics today so both I-485 and I-765 had their cases updated to “actively being reviewed.” A next day EAD card being produced update would be nice like some of you have gotten especially with Dec 15 marking 2 years since we submitted the K-1 visa application.
  18. Got our appointment date for biometrics. Will be in about 2 weeks. Smooth sailing so far.. I’m totally scared of an RFE though either for the medical in which my wife claims she is missing a vaccine or for maybe something I messed up in the affidavit of support. Guess we wait and see.
  19. Sent everything to Chicago on 11/13 and received 3 texts on the 17th confirming that they received our I-485, I-765, and I-131 after it reached their office on the 15th. Hope it all gets approved quickly!
