That’s what I’m also really scared of. I will!! He was so good in the beginning I didn’t think it would turn into this. And he is an actual lawyer I looked for references etc before hiring him. thank you!

I should’ve asked him to double check the application one more time; but when you’re literally paying thousands of dollars for him to fill out a paper you’d expect he’d get it done right 😭 I am so upset. i asked him about writing a letter to the service center and he basically brushed it off saying I’ll be fine and to not worry about it. But either way I’ll get it done myself. thanks again

Hello everyone!! I received my extension letter last month. Unfortunately, it seems like my lawyer made a mistake. He put my last name both on the middle and last name section of the application. So basically, my last name is being listed twice. I tried to get it corrected by calling, doing the e request but they basically just said it is up to the officer to make a decision. I am planning a trip to Brazil in the next few months and I am scared this will give me issues. According to my lawyer I should be fine because everything else matches, alien #, first name, DOB etc... But I did want to hear from you guys... has anyone experienced something similar? Thank you!
