  1. I will try have him file a 1040 if possible and not use the EZ. Thank you, really appreciate the comments.
  2. OK, thank you for your comments. Although the I-864 instructions state that the EZ can be used with the AGI. But, I will chat with the co-sponsor and see if he can file with 1040.
  3. Is that disqualified for tax purposes in general or visa reasons? He has a professional who completes his taxes, so surely would have advised correctly you would imagine.
  4. Interesting. I will ask him why he files on the EZ. He is a farmer who is married and files jointly, but he does have dependants.
  5. Thank you. It seems he uses the Adjustabke Gross Income as he files on an 1040EZ form. I will make sure they have a utility bill and take a look at the I864a too.
  6. Absolutely. I will just focus on what they ask for within the I-864 and within the I-864 instructions for use. Found some guidance on USCIS too thankfully.
  7. I don’t unfortunately. The joint sponsor is able to meet the required threshold and has all tax evidence etc. just trying to figure out if we need to provide more evidence. I found a website that states we do (a law attorney), but there is no formal guidance that covers what the attorney recommends within the I-864 instructions.
  8. Hi, My joint sponsor is self-employed. I have picked out the below of evidence he needs to provide, but couldn't find other specific guidance. Does anyone know of a formal list? -Form I-864 -Passport/birth Cert -tax return and W2/1099 -Schedule c,d,e or f as applicable. Thanks in advance.
  9. Hi. How do online I-130 applications make payment?
  10. Evening. We have completed I-130 online uploading all evidence asked for, including uploading I-130A. I have not seen any requirement to provide any evidence with the !-130A. I would expect to upload my (spouse beneficiary) birth certificate etc or current UK passport, or some form of evidence relating to myself. I have read the I-130/I-130A instructions but they also do not state any evidence to submit with the I-130A. Can anyone please confirm that no evidence is to be submitted with the I-130A specifically for the spouse beneficiary?
  11. Hi. Can anyone recommend a particular document scan app that is acceptable for online submission? Wouldn't want to delay the application due to incorrect scanning. Many thanks.
  12. Great, thank you. I did see that link Lil Bear, but unfortunately don't fall within and of the exceptional circumstances for consideration. Thank you.
  13. Carmel 34, thank you, that makes sense and is what I expected. Thanks all.
