My partner's parents hold green cards. But apparently they can only sponsor "unmarried" children.

Hi all, As the title says, I am a UK teacher considering possibilities to move to the US (I have family there, although sponsorship isn't a possibility as I am married). I have been advised that teachers are eligible for H1B visas. Does anyone know how I can go about finding a sponsor for this? TIA.
