I need your opinion. I filed 1-751 last Nov. 2021 and until now (October 2023) it shows 'fingerprint has taken'. So basically, I don't have my 10yr green card yet and I have 48months extension letter. My husband and I are travelling overseas in January. I'm hesitant that if I file my N-400 now, I might have schedule in January for interview while we're overseas. I know that we can always re-schedule an interview or any appointment with USCIS but if I can avoid having it to re-schedule then I'd go for that.
So should I wait maybe late December to file my N-400 or, just do it now?
Also, if I apply with still pending I-751, and for filing N-400 you need to send a copy of your Green Card, should I also send the extension letter?
