    Hello, My partner is a US citizen and has been offered a PHD position with a stipend that meets the value of the income requirement for the CR1 visa. However, I am unsure as to whether a PHD stipend qualifies for the definition of income and would be accepted? Any guidance is greatly appreciated.Thank you
