    May applications are taking longer because they had almost double the applications in May than any other month, which affects all the months after that.

    Politics has absolutely nothing to do with it. USCIS is having the same problem as most other businesses. They are having trouble hiring people. They are short 3,000 workers.     We filed June 21. Originally we were gonna do k-1, but lawyer told us it was pointless because the wait times were the same. Currently, Your case is taking longer than expected to process.
