  1. but so.. why on some sites I read that J1 is for under 35 yo? is it true? I find two agencies of interneship/traineeship that told me "you have a good experience, we could find an internship, but due to age and too much experience yuor J1 will be probably rejected. J1 is made for student and for acquire experience and gain abilities for young professionals. So we prefer not to continue with your application" someone else answer me that it will not be any problems.. Im a little bit scared to be honest is there any USCIS page where I can read about no limit age?
  2. So in the unlucky case that a visa will be denied, should I apply for a tourist B2 for example? I mean.. thats crazy.. if someone denies visa due to age.. there is no sense about esta blocking !?
  3. If I re-apply will I have some problems? I ready many opinions about approval when not under 35. Id like try but.. would be very bad that I cant go anymore on vacation in the usa; maybe only cuz someone denies a J1 or F1 due to age. Is there any authorites who can I ask to? id like be sure before be a candidate for J1 or also for F1 (for example Id like a 6 months english course to be proficient)
  4. Hello, I'm writing here for a question. I have 9 years job experience (im from europe) as architect, but I'd like find a job opportunity for 12 month in usa. Im 37, and some organization are available to find me an internship/traineeship (12/18 months) with a J1 visa. Im sure that, even if I have a wide experience, a internship in USA would be totally formative. Everything will be different..work environment/people/process flow. 1) Do you think that, due to my age, could my j1 visa be denied? 2) Actually I have ESTA. If my J1 will be deny.. can I continue visit USA as tourist with my esta? thanks eveybody
