  1. For us it was a bit different. 1. First we went to the courthouse for the documents 2. We had our little ceremony, during which the same document „Marriage License Certificate” that is on my post above has been filled out by the judge, me and my husband signed it and the two witnesses. 3. After the ceremony we had the choice to either deliver it ourselves to the courthouse or by the judge. We did it ourselves since it was way quicker than through the judge. 4. At the courthouse they took the Marriage License Certificate. We received 3 original copies with the stamps, signatures and seals.
  2. We already got married almost half a year ago. This is what we received after getting married as our „marriage certificate”
  3. Me and my husband got married in Utah and we received the "Marriage License Certificate" as our marriage certificate, it has the seal, date of registration and signature of the county clerk. The USCIS stated that: "You submitted a copy of your marriage license. Please submit the marriage certificate for xxx and xxx". We went to the courthouse today and they provided us with a statment that the "Marriage License Certificate" is a marriage certificate, it has the official clerk seal and signature. My questions are: - Should I send them another copy of the "Marriage License Certificate" with the statment? - Has anyone else has had this problem? If yes, how did it turn out? I really got stressed out since it's the first RFE that we received. The USCIS wants some other evidence with it as well but this one has caused a major confusion for me. I appreciate all answers.
  4. I'm not sure if he'll be able to get the address before my interview but he'll definitely have one by the time I would have to leave for the States. If it'll be an issue is it possible to provide his parent's place instead?
  5. Hello! I'm the beneficiary of the K-1 Visa and will have my medical exam and interview next month. My Fiance is out on deployment currently. We sent out the papers to the USCIS while he was still residing in his old apartment and provided that address as the place where I would be staying with him. The issue here is my fiance no longer resides in that apartment (he'll be getting a new one). I've already filled out the DS-160 form with the same address. Will this be a problem?
  6. Got an Update!! Just got NOA2 approved, waiting for the letter to arrive 💕
  7. We just wanted to ask them where to go with this situation from now. What we sent before was just photos. We just completed collecting all the evidence of meeting prior: Our tickets from Poland to USA, AirBnb receipts, Passport stamps and photos with dates this time. Probably going to send that out today.
  8. They told my fiance to submit the missing files and add a note that we forgot to submit them with the original. Basically Files + note + the case number.
  9. UPDATE: Ok, so we managed to go through to a representative. They told us to send in more evidence by mail, so I hope it'll turn out well. We will go along with the Guide that has been provided above. Thank you guys a lot for helping and making stuff clear. I'm really grateful for that.
  10. Is there a possible way to contact the USCIC without going through the automated voice messaging system? We would really like to contact them about this issue and resolve it as soon as possible without cancelling the whole process that we already went through ;/
  11. Hello there! My fiance applied for the K-1 visa on February 10th this year. We forgot to add the dates on the submitted pictures for evidence, will this be a problem in the future? We didn't send in any other evidence besides the pictures and I was also wondering if it's possible to send more evidence to the UCIS without a RFE?
