  1. My wife received her visa and passport a week ago Alhamdulillah. There was a letter in the envelope with instructions to pay the immigration fee, we got that taken care of. But, it also says in the letter that she has to take her x-rays or CD with her to the US as it is required at US immigration. However, she wasn't given anything after her medical exam, so I'm thinking that everything was transferred electronically. Just wanted some insight on this. Does she have to do anything else, or is she okay with just her passport and visa?
  2. Thank you!! Yes, my wife took her police certificate but they did not ask for it. Yes, we did upload all recent tax returns and pay stubs online. My wife took these documents to her interview as well. She took a physical copy of everything that we uploaded.
  3. Hey everyone! Sorry I have been Mia. Alhamdulillah my wife's interview yesterday went extremely well and they approved her visa. The interview questions were very easy and everything went smooth. Luckily, the CO was very nice. I would recommend everyone to take an FRC by marriage as well, along with all the other documents. The FRC was helpful for my wife's case but not required. The questions she was asked were: 1. What is your name? 2. Where are you going and why? (Who is sponsoring you?) 3. What is your husband's name? 4. Where does he live? 5. Who does he live with? 6. What does he do for a living? 7. How many people live in the house where you are intending to stay? 8. When are you planning to travel there? 9. Have you ever traveled internationally with your husband? (If yes, where did you go?)
  4. I have a question regarding uploading documents before the interview. So, on the CEAC portal page, we have one section for the beneficiary and one section for the sponsors. Should we upload all pics/chat logs/travel logs etc. under the beneficiary section and upload updated i-864 and recent tax returns under the sponsor's section?
  5. Yeah, everything else is correct, you guys also tried to apply for a visit visa? Hope everything goes well with your wife's interview, good luck! 🙏
  6. Okay, my wife got in, she had an account made before because she also tried to come to the US on a visit visa last year. The problem that we're facing now is that when she registered for the document location pick-up, its showing her DS-160 confirmation number that she got last year at the time of the visit visa. This got me a little worried. Any solution to this?
  7. I don't remember ever registering on the website. But I'll ask my wife to check if she can try logging in by selecting the forgot password option. Hopefully, it works
  8. Thanks for the reply. She's been trying since last week when she first received the interview letter, and this has been popping up every time.
  9. Sorry to bother you guys again. My wife has scheduled her medical exam and will have it in a few days, so that is taken care of. But, on the interview prep page, step 1 says "Register Online and Select a Document Pick-up Location." However, when my wife tries to sign up it keeps showing an error (See attached pic) even though she is spelling everything correctly. Did anyone else experience this same issue? What can we do about this issue?
  10. Thank you!! Will keep you guys updated.
  11. Got it!! Appreciate your timely responses.
  12. Thank you so much! What about the I-864A (Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member)? Do we need to fill out a new one and submit that too along with the updated I-864?
  13. Had a couple of questions. 1. Is it okay if the medical exam is done 25 days before the interview date, or is that too early? 2. What do you mean by 'update your documents?' Since my income isn't sufficient, I included a household member (my mom) when we filed. So, do I need to upload my mom's most recent tax returns and w-2s to the CEAC page, and would my wife take copies of the tax returns and w-2s to the interview?
  14. I just received the Interview letter. ID is December 1st, 2023.
  15. My wife's DQ date is January 31st, 2022, any idea when I can expect the IL? Can anyone please provide any update regarding their IL if they were documentarily qualified in Jan 2022?
