  1. “unless you fit into a narrow exception for people with certain nonimmigrant statuses." yes, that’s literally the H1B visa. Again, what I quoted in the first reply. nowhere in your sources is there a distinction made based on whether it’s based on an underlying I130 or I140.
  2. Yeah I think you’re still wrong. Unless you can quote me a source, I’ll wait for someone else to chime in.
  3. I think this is incorrect. read the note in point 3 https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-131instr.pdf
  4. I have a pending I130/I485 filed through my spouse, no AP. I also have a pending I140 through work. I am planning to travel next month using my H1B(I have a stamp valid until 2025). I will carry all necessary docs with me (visa stamp, I797, letter from employer, paystubs, all receipts). As far as I am aware, I should be able to use my H1B to travel because of its dual intent nature- is that correct? Is there anything else I should be aware of? Thanks!
  5. Thank you, I apologize for the original post not being clear enough. So I take it doesn’t matter if my last stay at Address A was only for four months? And I should be okay with listing the dates as May-August, 2016?
  6. I was at address A when I boarded a flight to the US. Address A is where my parents still live. And yet there’s multiple opinions on this thread.
  7. It’s not a “lie”. There’s a technical difference between the two depending on how you read the question. Thanks for your two cents.
  8. Thanks- should I be using this even though I’ve used Address A on all my other US visa applications?
  9. A little confused about this question. I lived at Address A from 2006-2012 and then for 4 months in 2016, shortly before moving to the US. This is also the address I used on all my US visa applications. However, I lived at Address B from Mar 2015-May 2016. Should I be using Address A or Address B for my last physical address?
