Had my oath on monday. still feels unreal that I am a citizen now. I registered to become a voter and checking that citizen box is weird. Anyhow, I am grateful for all yall. Give it a day or 2. you should be good!!

congrats!!! UPDATE: case just updated and the schedule has been posted on USCIS account. I start my new jobs a week beforehand and will be in training for the next 10 weeks. I hope they lenient enough to let me skip on a monday to do my oath

Just had my interview today at Newark. I was scheduled at 11:15 but wasn't called until like 1PM. Interview probably took 10 mins. It was such a breeze. After I took swore, he told me there will be no same day ceremony today due to staff meeting. I said no problem. asked for my passport, GC, and Driver License. Gave it back after confirming everything. anyhow, I cant remember what questions he asked me ( I BLANKED OUT ) LOL but I did ask him to repeat one question which was " what is one right only for United States citizens " and I was able to answer it correctly. For writing he made me read " Who was the first president " made me write Washington was the first president. After that, just a bunch of yes and no question from the N400. After that, he said congratulations. Walked me out and thanked him for his service because he was in the military back in the day. The wait is finally almost over. Just gtta wait for the letter now for when I will take the Oath Ceremony. Maybe it will start to hit me when I do the Oath ceremony. My case just updated too. Oath Ceremony Cancelled February 21, 2024 Your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, was placed in line for oath ceremony scheduling. February 21, 2024 We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review. February 21, 2024

last sept i was eligble with 3 year marriage but t yes. no interview yet. done bio already last week Walk in.

glad seeing some of yall folks get an interview! My cousin just got finished her interview and passed. Took about 8 months total.

went from 10 months to 9 months and now down to 8 months.. weird. I noticed that my application went " Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS " BEFORE I went for my walk in biometrics.

Just went for biometrics this morning. I was scheduled for next week, the receptionist told me last week to look for her and that she will allow me for the walk in today. So I did that, I outta there in about 15 mins. Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS now.

Tried walking in Manhattan ASC, security denied me. He told me the supervisor told them not to accept any walk in since last month due to staff shortage. I went to another ASC, I was told by the desk to come back next week and to look for him.

Will attempt to do a walk in tomorrow for biometrics. I hate this process lol I wish they reused my fingerprints. Literally feels like DACA all over again haha

lmaoo!! that is the worst. When I was waiting for my 10 year green card, I completely forgot about it because for months it would always say we received your application. Then few weeks ago, my wife said oh you got a mail from USPS first class mail. I was like whoa. I forgot about this LOL

Lucky! you got the notice and my biometrics is not until next month. Processing time also changed from 9 to 10 months now. This sucks. I used to get my biometrics on Varick St, but sinced I moved, my location is at Elizabeth,NJ. I liked Varick because they dont care about the date. One time, literally the mail got delivered for biometrics for I765, I went for a walk in and got it done the same day. I hope you get an update soon!
