  1. Hi everyone, I am Iranian raised in United States and lived in USA for over 20 years. my fiance is Iranian male who is resident of italy for the past 5 or so years. after waiting 13 months uscis approved our I-129f form, then after 3 months NVC got our case processed for a US consulate in Naples, Italy. In September 2023 my fiance finally had an interview. We also unfortunately planned for a wedding for October. Now his case is in AP. can anyone tell me what is this form you are all mentioning WoM mean and how I can go about filling one. thanks
  2. Mahdi, I see your post was from April, I hope that you and your wife have been able to reunite. If you don't mind giving me more details about the process you went through with AP and what happened from April till now. My fiance and I are in the same boat. He is an Iranian with Italian residency and has been outside of Iran for 5 years or so but when he went in for his k1 interview he was given AP. He was told to fill our the DS5535 and provide a few things since then but no other updates. thank you and wish you the best.
  3. Saeid, thank you for sharing your experience. I am undergoing the same process right now and I wanted to see if this is a normal process for Iranians right now. wish you guys all the best
  4. I am an Iranian who resides in Italy as a permanent residence and have been living in Italy more than 5 years now. In Iran I had to serve mandatory military service like almost every male. when I went for an interview for my K1 visa, I was told that my case needed to undergo AP. A week later they emailed me to fill out a Supplemental form, asking for my travel history and address history and education. A week later they requested more information about my Mandatory Military service card. Has anyone experienced this type of AP as an Iranian applied for K1?
  5. Saeid, can you give me more details of your case and situation if it’s ok. Were you also served in mandatory military service? And how long did your AP last? And you were approved? Thank You
  6. He is a citizen of Iran and studied law in that country. But there are so many people with his background in education from that country who have been able to get visa
  7. My fiancé said they asked him questions about his degrees and what he studied and where he got his bachelors degree and once he said he got his bachelors in his home country they asked what his thesis was about and he said it was based on AI damages and liabilities and than soon after the officer gave him that paper
  8. At the time of the interview we had prepared two affidavit of supports just in case. But once they checked mine they didn’t request for another one they said it was enough.
  9. Does that mean it has something to do with his educational background? Because he is originally born in another country and got his bachelors degree in that country.
  10. Thanks for your reply. there are two decisions one is section 221(g) for missing documents such as incomplete affidavit of support or evidence of relationship. Which is not checked then there is the section 212 (a)(7)(B)(i)(L) and the one where it says “your application required administrative processing” is checked.
  11. Hello everyone, after about 13 months of being in the process of I-129f, USCIS finally approved my application and sent it to the NVC, then NVC after 3 months sent the application to US Consulate in Naples, Italy, where my fiance is a resident of. we were able to get him an interview for k1, after I went in for my k1 fiance visa interview, I received a letter from the officer saying "it is not possible to issue an immigrant visa, as you have been found ineligible under the section 212 (a)(7)(B)(I)(L), you application requires administrative processing" what does that mean? anyone else has had anything similar to this, thank you
