Well, here is a definite update. I also emailed the embassy and they finally replied to me.
I am posting this here for the benefit of people like me who might also be in the same situation.
Thanks everyone for your responses!
hello!
i recently got married here in florida to my partner and i was wondering if i am required to register my marriage with the philippine embassy because same sex marriage isn't legally recognized back in the philippines
i am just asking before i put in the effort and money in gathering these notarized documents they are requiring for the registration.
i am also asking here because googling hasn't really given me any answers so hopefully someone in the same situation or someone who knows the answer might find this.
thank you!
thank you both so much!
i just began to panic because i kept seeing videos and posts about "how to open" the plastic and i thought mine would be considered damaged.
hi so the visa packet comes with plastic covering right... i hadn't known that there was a specific way to get the passport inside so i just cut the plastic wrapper on the top. the yellow manila folder and its contents are intact and weren't touched at all but now i am worried that the cbp might deny me entry because i had cut through the plastic instead of making just a small cut and sealing it back with tape.
is this a big problem or is only the yellow folder their concern?
