    Basically its not in the list of requirements, however to solidify our papers aside from the marriage cert, we try to show them those shared assets and liabilities... Also we are getting tips and tricks too from the people that came before us in this forum... our visa veterans! LOL.. atleast we do not need an attorney that charges big amount of fees just to gather requirements and lodge this applications.

    Indeed this things are the same stuff I pondered over and over again esp I submitted my papers a day after my k1 expired + amother 10days delivery with the snowstorm around. im sure all of this are just fruit of our anxiousness with the whole ordeal, others have gone thru it and were fine. We gonna be fine, one step at a time (my calm self says 😵‍💫), otherwise I am just the always nervous kind of a person. 😂 geez!!

    Im still thinking how odd to just have the k1 visa valid for a brief time. It could have been wonderful for it to be valid for 2 years but the marriage period still be within 3 months so we can still be paperwise legal while waiting for our paperworks. Just feels funny, scary or confusing that most of us now just floaters, no status 😂 in our adjustment periods. And glad to see progress from others, be it RFE or returned papers, atleast we have movements and hope this time.. crossing our fingers be PERFECT! Lets get this residency together!

    Yeah it will be quick once it prompted CARD PRODUCED. You can ask MYEMMA too for the tracking..funny they updated my tracking code upon delivery. 😂 good luck!!

    It changed again, its coming today! Its out for delivery! USPS must have seen my unending refreshes on system. 😂 So from Saturday, to Monday.. and today... out for delivery... 😃 good job USPS. 👏

    Silly me, did not realize my SS card had already arrived in the mail, the last 2 or 3 days with other mails.. It already reflected my married name, so all good.. now awaiting for the work auth ID, and my husband asked me to stop complaining and refreshing the USPS site as it has changed its ETA from Saturday to Monday now... 🤣

    Indeed, can truly be rest assured if we get the residency card or see it as CARD PRODUCED hahaha. Was wondering too if they are going to give me a new social security card along with my work permit, i ticked YES as its still on my previous name and its under DHS authorization something before with my J1 VISA and that was 2 decades ago 😂 Oh the things we do for love 😍🤪 they never made it easy for all of us 😅

    Her interview was waived too! Lucky her! Been checking my USPS for my EAD card, it was already here in our state, then moved today to another. 😂😂😂 seems like it skipped and just passed by here earlier...Thats so funny..

    Just today I had received a prompt of CARD PRODUCED and check with EMMA about my tracking code.. biometrics on 6th, approval on 12th... Your Hawaii center is really fast! Wooo! My friend (Hawaii based too) has her i485 approved this month.. she lodged it last August...

    Thats a good comparison. The new form looks entirely different, old one is much more defined when it came to forms. Can be tricky indeed. Its apparently 4 more pages now in the new form as they removed columns and rearranged wordings too.

    Indeed, just get the main gist of it.. the form is also different too already as a january filer. And there is a new one too now.. i think one page was added... And search for more as I have watched more than one vid too.. And even googled whats the difference of this and that answers as sometimes it seems like an easy question but still tricky. So good luck everyone. Hope all goes well in this journey. Let us not hesitate to ask questions here too if we are in doubt. I know i spent a bit time on the PUBLIC CHARGE question, some says YES, some says NO. But i did for YES in reference to more approved forms I encountered from approved applicants.

    Yeah this was my same question too prior... luckily found a DIY tutorial for forms thats specifically follows a K1 journey in YT so did change lots of things from my original answers. I just attached the channel I followed as it is somehow recent and her form approved. Just make sure to use the new forms.

    Hahahaa. Was talking to a friend of mine based in Hawaii, they applied August, she got approved, they have no interview too. She is just waiting for her card to be mailed in now. So hoping!!!

    Thats odd..but is the i765 declined as well on the app? Try connecting again to another agent maybe they have a different angle on that. Or maybe somewhere in this forum you can find similar case..

    I feel you! From the time we all started writing our application, oh the anxiousness was there, i said ill be at ease once I mailed it in but no, each step has a different anxiety ladder by watching videos, reading articles, etc... I think we all be rest assured once we really get the residency card. 😂

    I got my Approval Case Decision Rendered with my work authorization, but find no attached document on the app... im just so ready to apply now 😄

    Should be good unless they have new rules again. I did the application and notification under my name but the cheques are under my husband's name only since basically I have no access to checking or credit card here yet... Check if they already charged the card... that might be a good indication that all is good...

    That is indeed very weird. The cheques I sent was under my husband's name... maybe somehow its the new changes now? Like update. Heard there is a new form too like 1 more additional page for the 485...

    I once was thinking they could have like visa extension status for k1's.. marrying within 3 months then an official extension until residency is achieved so we can all rest easy and stress free, it feels like we are in a limbo of having no status, since our visa stay duration is expired but covered by some pardon since application is going on. 😂 and i cant just be not going out...that will drive me nuts... i wanted to start looking for work... speaking of work, can we start applying and just note that work authorization is under process? Or better wait for the papers? And i can truly breathe easy if I get my residency, so its going to be a whirlwind of chaos in my head. 🤯🥴
