I am USA citizen and planning to marry Indian citizen who do not have USA Visa. How much time it will take her to get US Visa & come with me to USA? Also, is it required to change my Spouse name on her passport after our marriage immediately and before applying her I-130 petition?

Thank you for your response. I heard that I-130 may take for almost 1.5 to 2 years. In that case, what are the other option for her to travel to USA if I cannot sponsor her B2 Visa? My friend got the B2 Visa appointment last month within a month at Mumbai consulate. Its challenging but very much possible to get appoint for B2 Visa within 1-2 month.

Dear Team, Can spouse of USA Citizen apply for B2 Visa when I-130 is in process? The purpose of B2 Visa will be only for visit purpose and to stay in USA for less than 180 days. What are the chances of getting B2 Visa approval? B2 Visa will be applied in Mumbai, India when I-130 is in process. It will be helpful if someone can guide me as I am planning to marry this dec2023 and then file for her I-130 & Spouse Visa.
