This is the warning I see when I try to reschedule a B1/B2 interview in India. Since there are now 2 appointments (one for fingerprinting and another at the consulate), which does this apply to? Either one or both?

Asked if I want to merge profiles. I said yes and was asked to upload a copy of the passport. Got an email reply later saying the following: "Thank you for contacting the U.S. Visa Service Desk. We would like to inform you that, your profile duplication request needs to be raised from a different / new email address. Please find the details for cancellation: Profile has a valid receipt tagged. Thank you, The U.S. Visa Service Desk" What does this mean? How does one transfer over to Denmark? Don't mind paying another visa fee.

Yes, both in same household. This is a married couple who will be travelling together. Also another relative will be cancelling her appointment and I'm hoping to time their cancellation at the time the couple is about to schedule their interview. Does the slot become immediately open?
