    Thanks for all the answers. I think I won't consider the Utah option anymore and will go through the process of getting married in Morocco. Unfortunately, I'll only be able to visit for two weeks at a time because that's how my company's vacation policy is. I can visit once in the summer and once in winter but not more than 10-14 days each time.

    Hi! I'm asking for planning and informational purpose. Few questions about the Utah online marriage. 1. Will it be recognized in Morocco for CR1 purposes? 2. Does it matter if I visit the Moroccan before or after the online marriage? E.g. if I met someone on a trip to Morocco and we decided to get married, can I go back to the US and do the online marriage? Then apply for CR1. Or does the in person meeting have to happen after the online marriage? Then I apply for CR1. Morocco has a complicated and long process to get a local mixed marriage permit. This is why I'm considering doing the Utah online marriag instead of going through the local Morocco government process.

    How long typically does it take to change from "At NVC" to "Ready"? And is there anything I should/could be doing to expedite the status change?

    Hi! For K1, if NVC status says "At NVC" is this when DS-160 must be completed?
