  1. Are there any documented sources (not hearsay) that state how long VAC will hold a visa for pickup??
  2. Dina and I were rewarded for our persistence today. She chose to pick up at VAC. She was told 1-2 weeks. That seemed like a long time compared to what I have read in the past. Does anybody have recent experience with this? She's gonna crash tomorrow. The next day she needs to decide if to leave the Embassy/VAC area or not. She has a sister 10 bus hours away she can visit if it's really gonna be a more than week. If only a few days, then she stays where she is and rests/shops/sightsees.
  3. Also, will she be required to attend both?
  4. Dina has her interview tomorrow. She decided to stay in Manila to pick up visa and do CFO before returning to Leyte. I assume it's risky to schedule CFO before having visa in hand. That said, once having the visa, how quickly can she expect to score an open slot?
  5. I never saw any mention for petitioner
  6. I'm curious as to why ladyboy is such a thing for you. You even use an uppercase 'l'. Sounds like you got some issues beyond flawed grammar... In any case, on to more important things.. Nope - LBC Kahului only does boxes, Buzzed over to DHL. $137 later, my raised bumpy sealed divorce decree and for kicks my original birth certificate landed in Honolulu yesterday and should be in Dina's grubs in a week. She's already talking to the interview goddess about helping her secure a second interview.
  7. I have a stamped and sealed copy. LBC has an office in Kahului. LBC or DHL?
  8. Dina failed her interview as she did not have my original divorce decree. She had a scanned copy. What makes an original an original? Is it the seal?? Dina also mentioned when the interviewer scratched the signature of the judge with his fingernail, that's when things ended. I can't say for sure what I have is an authentic signature. What it does have is a state seal that's bumpy like what a notary uses. I would hope that proves authenticity. Bill
  9. It seems HNN did a half-assed job in reporting. Mahalo to my friend John for adding context https://www.newsweek.com/lewelyn-dixon-green-card-detained-ice-2049154
  10. Green card holders may not be as safe as they once were Curtesy: HawaiiNewsNow
  11. Mahalo again. Had no idea.
  12. Dina is starting to look for a travel/document bag for both going to Manila for various visa appointments and for traveling to Hawai`i. How big is the envelope she will carry from Manila and present to immigration in Honolulu?
  13. Do you have specific times you feel strongly about?? Also when they open slots up, is always for both? I have always wondered what to do if for example there were interview slots but no Biometrics or v/v.
  14. This is our list - assuming we ever get an appointment
  15. Exactly right. Gold star for the good boy. Mahalo x ∞
  16. I mean I posted 15 min ago
  17. No email was sent. I get emails on posts I create. What do I need to do to get emails on threads I follow? I have the thread set to "Immediate notification". Says last post 2 hrs ago. I sent email 15 min ago.
  18. This is a test. I just turned on "follow". I want to see if this message triggers an email notification on my iphone. We need to schedule also. Good luck to all.
  19. Nice to see what the prize looks like. This raises two questions - 1. The smart side of me thinks green means available dates. Can I assume multiple times per date? 2. When dates are made available, how far into the future are they?? Or is it seemingly random?
  20. Mahalo Edward and Jaycel, Maryaaaa and John. Back to the insanity inducing website.
  21. Yes we seen that 147 times. What we haven't seen is what happens when we see other than "No Slots Available"
  22. Please be more specific. Does that mean the letter received is wrong?
