  1. You mean the checks for AOS and EA? If so, that's a very astute idea.
  2. Dina and I sent in a fat envelope on 9/2/2025 for AOS and EA. Checks cashed two days ago. We're in the game. Good luck to us all...
  3. You found your way into my head. I updated timeline before I read your reply.. HNL --> Guam --> Saipan keeps us in US jurisdiction.
  4. This was covered in a post long ago. I wanted to see if there were any updated opinions. The checks were cashed two days ago for Dina's AOS and EA. That's where we are now. We have a travel itch. Going to the continent holds little interest. We want something more exotic. Should CNMI be safe as it is a US territory?
  5. We were about to reserve and Dina lost power. When she came back 3 hrs later it increased $30. Insane greed.
  6. Mr Hammer.. I just saw the pound signs. I said rap with a 'c' in front. I didn't feel that was a bad word.
  7. Never mind. We're going with PAL. She has been thru too much ####### the last month. Control what we can control and make the last step as easy and stress free as possible. Hopefully this will be our last post in this forum. Mahalo nui for all the help from everyone. Been quite an experience. Would I do it all again?? From a padded cell, absolutely. See you guys in the AOS forum. Mālama pono kākou, Bill
  8. And if we chose Guam, which line would she enter in Honolulu? I'm assuming "Immigrants" would be for brown envelope people - which she would no longer be.
  9. Not wanting to get in any more trouble, I'll just say Dina got her Certificate. Looking at insane air prices now. Cheapest take you to S. Korea or Japan first. Dina veto'ed that and I agree. PAL is easiest but very expensive. Happy medium is MNL/GUM/HNL. Almost $500 less than PAL. Guam would become her POE. Has anyone heard good/bad about going thru there?? Also there is a 3 hr layover. I am assuming that is more than enough time to get thru immigration and to next gate? I can't imagine at 430am there would be much of an immigration line.
  10. I have her email address. One Dina is safely here, I'm gonna shred her
  11. No. CFO lady asked for my FBI clearance and a CENOMAR ON ME. Dina emailed those in yesterday.
  12. When is the request made to view it and by whom?
  13. She needs to go back to the office again?
  14. With apprehensive optimism, we feel Dina's CFO Certificate is in the works. How does the certificate evolve into a sticker??
  15. I like the layout of that.
  16. PAL seems to be the only direct to Honolulu. And price is almost double flights that stop in Seoul or Tokyo first. Other than the greed component. I don't understand the economics of aerospace.
  17. I'm looking at both Kayak and the PAL website. Are there useful sites I am unaware of? Dina does CFO in 2.5 hours. She wants to take a week or two to recover from the chaos of the last month, then she'll be ready to hop the big bird.
  18. Saipan specifically.. Since the chain is a US territory, I'm thinking it would be ok. We're looking for somewhere exotic to go to and still stay in the US. American Samoa is another possibility. Guam is out. Too military.
  19. Email on phone. Visa in hand.
  20. Does email always arrive? And if so how long after ISSUED does it take?
  21. Dina has been told that not only does she have to wait for email - she has to show email at VAC in order to pick up. Truth or conspiracy theory?
  22. So "Issued" doesn't mean it's ready for pick-up? She needs to wait on email??
  23. Fast workers.. Now Approved
