Thanks! Did you travel every 6 months or closer to a year? Did the officer ask for the travel document after you did that a few times?

If I qualify for ina 319(b) and I immediately leave the States for abroad after receiving my green card, is the goal to apply for naturalization within 6 months? Would that override the green card requirement not to be away for more than 6 months? What if the naturalization application is still pending for more than 6 months and Im still stuck abroad? Will my green card still be valid? Thanks!g

Hi so under ina319b, it is possible to receive the green card, leave immediately to abroad without any physical presence requirements, and apply for naturalization abroad? My husband is employed broad with a religious organization and I just received my green card. We are both back in the States but hope to leave to abroad soon. From your case, it seems like they accepted your wife's application even without being in the States for uninterrupted year? Thanks!
