Thanks for sharing! Sadly, right now it seems impossible to obtain any of those - to get the card, I would have to visit Iran where it's possible I would be detained. It also seems like they've suspended military exemption purchase, so I may not be eligible even if I could go. Additionally, I can't renounce my Iranian citizenship so I'm essentially in limbo. The best I can obtain right now is a temporary military exemption stamp that grants the right to enter and exit Iran twice a year for 5 years, however this isn't on the US Gov website you shared so I'm wondering if there's any other documentation I can provide that is satisfactory

Hi, I'm an Iranian-British Dual National (born and lived in the UK for my entire life) applying for an L1 visa, that has an expired Iranian Passport. I've been asked to provide a military exemption card, however obtaining one might be impossible. Would a temporary exemption stamp on my Iranian passport be enough for the British consulate (if I renew the passport)? I would appreciate any help from anyone that has been through the process. Thanks EDIT: London Consulate are requesting, not USCIS
