Hello! I am planning to sponsor my parents but I currently do not have an income. I file taxes jointly with my husband but his income does not meet the i-864 income requirements as well. Does he still need to file form i-864a even if it is essentially not going to help fulfill the income requirements? My niece is willing to to be the joint sponsor and she files taxes jointly with her husband. Does her husband need to file form i-864a? Thank you very much in advance!
