    I have always be on F1, I didn't change category. I have been documentary qualify and on the queue waiting for interview date since September 2021. I just want to know which year/month of DQ F1, Lagos gave interview date to recently. Thank you.

    So sorry, this is not spouse case. The petitioner is a US citizen (mother) while the beneficiary is her foreign son. That's, F-3 category under family relatives. Please, I want to seek your assistance to link me up with the appropriate group in case my question cannot be answer here. Most grateful.

    Thank you for your attention. The beneficiary in actual fact had partner with 2 kids at the time of filing the petition. The beneficiary misconstrued what it meant to be married for the purpose of immigration, the petitioner as well thought he was actually married. Hence, the petition was filed under married, F3. But there is no supporting document. Now, the beneficiary get a better understanding of what constitutes legal marriage and found out he has not been married. This is the dilima he found himself, then considering how to approach USCIS. Thank you.

    Good day all,

    Please, I need help in resolving a mistake in respect of error regarding marital status at the petition filing stage. 

    The case has been approved by USCIS since 2020.

    The beneficiary has never been married, but petition was mistakenly filed and approved under the married son of U.S. Citizen. F3

    He, beneficiary is thinking of contacting USCIS to inform them about the error.

    We honestly do not know how to go about it.

    I will appreciate any idea and suggestion to help.

      It is unclear, are you saying the petitioner mistakenly listed the beneficiary as married on the I130?
