  1. My long story short . My spouses ARCO/Police report was never uploaded at the NVC stage . at the interview in Early jan , the CO asked for the report to be uploaded, they also asked other countries police report to be uploaded also. gave my spouse a 221g . I uploaded these the same day , but the status still stuck on "REFUSED" , I have looked at the few updates that people have and it seems like that if the ARCO report is not uploaded before the interview it takes the london consulte a while (4 weeks) to Issue visa. let me know if anyone else is also waiting for Visa after uploading Police report. how long did it take you to get visa?
  2. @dsgraph were you able to get ur visa? how long did the status stay in review? thanks.
  3. Need Advise on Ceac status. My spouse had her interview last week on Tuesday. interview was ok , but the CO didnt find a lot of the documents that were uploaded at NVC stage. at the end wife was given a 221(g) which instructed to upload irrelevant documents like CV, etc all documents were uploaded with in an hour of the interview, later in the day london embassay emailed asking for the documents which were also then sent via email. then on Friday the CEAC status changed to "Refused" , I was under the impression that it will change to Admin Processing? what does refused mean? I saw a similar review for london embassy :https://www.visajourney.com/reviews/view-dos-cis-reviews.php?entry=31055 that person also indicated that CEAC status change to refused and then Admin processing ...... any insight on this would be welcome.
  4. My spouse will have her CR1 Interview at the London Embassy in Early Jan . Issue is that her passport is expiring 6 months and 10 days AFTER the interview. she does not have enough time to renew her passport since she needs to have immigration medical done before the interview and the passport cannot be renewed this quickly between the medical and the CR1 interview date. How long does the passport need to be valid for at the time of the interview, I read somewhere that It needs to be valid for 6 months from the date the US immigration stamps the CR1 visa? thanks.

  6. So I confirmed with multiple post updates, it seems like NVC document processing time is still 7-10 days Max.

  8. when did you last submit ur papers on ceac website? I assume it was sometime last week or within the last 10 days. thanks
  9. I would say this is probably a mistake, because given they were only behind 1 week, they should now be 2 weeks or 10 days behind, cant understand how they now be 60 days behind.....
  10. ok sounds good I will contact NVC as soon as my spouse is in UK .
  11. I am pretty sure I read multiple peoples comments that the embassy changes when submitting current address in DS260: "determining interview location, considers your selection and compares it to your present address. When they differ, the present address is the preferred input."
  12. my spouse's I-130 just got approved. But he is moving to UK as a student end of this month. I will only proceed with the NVC documents when he's in UK, my question is that when the case is at NVC and I update the DS260 with the current address of UK (I saw multiple threads about this that if you change the address on DS260, it will change the consulate to the current address.) how long does it take for NVC to change the embassy/NVC Case #? ,
