  1. why on earth would you try and create a problem?! It will take months for the form to be approved - what difference will a few days make?! I will be sending mine in 85 days before the deadline. And then sit back with a beer and chill.
  2. i dunno. I quite like the sound of tennis ball sized testicles… this dude must be unlucky though. No one else on earth has had that side effect…he knows 3 people!
  3. It could be. They choose not to, ultimately. May get even longer/slower with a change in president if that happens
  4. Mine is just a regular Santander one. Not a web only one
  5. Ive kept my U.K. one open. Changed the address to my parents there, and every so often when I’m back in U.K. I just put a few quid through it to keep it live. Had no issues at all. Been in US coming up a year now.
  6. your husband doesn’t need to be physically with you but MUST be in the country already if not. You cannot enter the country without them being there.
  7. it’s mostly done electronically now, as you say. check at the bottom just to the right of your photo. Can you see it say “IV DOCS IN CCD”? That means the docs have been sent electronically.
  8. I have no idea!!!! im just telling you what that stamp says
  9. hi From that pic, it shows the POI was ‘NEW’ (that’s the airport code) a quick search shows that to be a regional small airport serving the New Orleans region (lakefront airport) does that seem feasible?
  10. do you not have an apartment to give notice on? A house to sell? Possessions in your home country? A car? Etc etc if you AOS you potentially won’t be able to leave the US for almost a year! What happens to all those things?
  11. the US embassy is a fairly short walk from Vauxhall train/tube station (on the Victoria line). Find a good priced hotel that works for you and your other travel and use the tube if you can. It’s pretty straight forward. Good luck.
  12. once you’re in the US (any state) you are in the country. No one will ask or check your status again. You are free to move around any of the states as you wish to travel or marry.
  13. Good pick up. I was just listing documents for proof of address. But obv not voting if not USC
  14. drivers licence? Any bills you pay? Bank or credit card statements. Registered to vote? Etc. lots of other options. What official (ie government or banking) mail do you receive at your address?
  15. Hi. Why would YOU deal/contact with either DR or Finland? She is the one who will apply for the visa so she will be the one doing the application and contact etc. Nothing needed (or you can even do) from you.
  16. Don’t forget they already know how many times and when you last entered the country etc on their screen. The questions are often just to check your story. They don’t usually ask for any proof of ticket etc
  17. Plus then just a copy of my police certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate and my passport. nothing else relating to the relationship.
  18. they often don’t want to see any of that - you’ve already submitted it electronically. Obv take it, but they asked me 3 questions only. When did I last see my wife, when was I last in US and where does she live. That was literally it and I was approved. you’ll likely be surprised how little they want to see in London. It’s a fairly low fraud office so far easier than some.
  19. hi. Any update? Curious to see what the college have said
  20. Yes, Very interesting. Mine was in aug last year
  21. I think they used to do this but it’s changed now - she even said to me they could do that before but that the US was tightening up on this (unless they didn’t believe me!!)
  22. I was also just pointing out that my British passport and my wife American’s one were never stamped when we entered each others country for the last 5+ years
  23. I think you’re getting confused! I have nothing to do with Canada. I was just helping and replying to the OP
