  1. Don’t forget they already know how many times and when you last entered the country etc on their screen. The questions are often just to check your story. They don’t usually ask for any proof of ticket etc
  2. Plus then just a copy of my police certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate and my passport. nothing else relating to the relationship.
  3. they often don’t want to see any of that - you’ve already submitted it electronically. Obv take it, but they asked me 3 questions only. When did I last see my wife, when was I last in US and where does she live. That was literally it and I was approved. you’ll likely be surprised how little they want to see in London. It’s a fairly low fraud office so far easier than some.
  4. hi. Any update? Curious to see what the college have said
  5. Yes, Very interesting. Mine was in aug last year
  6. I think they used to do this but it’s changed now - she even said to me they could do that before but that the US was tightening up on this (unless they didn’t believe me!!)
  7. I was also just pointing out that my British passport and my wife American’s one were never stamped when we entered each others country for the last 5+ years
  8. I think you’re getting confused! I have nothing to do with Canada. I was just helping and replying to the OP
  9. do you have a shop in Spain that prints photos? If so they might also do passport pics. In the U.K. I went into one and when I said I needed US visa photos they already knew the size. They then took it with a camera and then printed and cut to size using a cutter they already had. Was a little more expensive than a Photo Booth, but only like double.
  10. This is useful if you get your passport stamped. Not sure whether Canadians/US get that. my wife and I didn’t get stamps in passport for years due to using egates or global entry so my U.K. passport going into US or her American one going into Uk never got stamped.
  11. We didn’t live together and had nothing combined like finances. But all approved without issue as I posted the pics plus hotel receipts and flight tickets with both our names on to 3-4 different locations
  12. I mean just write who is in the photo and say like “mum and dad who travelled from Montreal” or whatever. this is how I did ours. Hopefully the photo works. I had about 8 pages like this which I made on word doc then saved as pdf
  13. I would agree with this. I could write an affidavit saying I knew you, but what would that prove? photos are very strong evidence. Do you have some from your wedding? With friends and family on too? That’s excellent if so - especially if some had to travel out of country to your wedding. honeymoon? Receipts (plane, hotel) and photos again are strong. I would focus hugely on this. We were together a long time before we got married (despite being nagged at constantly..!) so in our photos you see us getting older, greyer and fatter!! No one can argue with that!!!
  14. No prob. Just checked and I think it’s less than I quoted. I paid 420 incl the blood test so I think it was maybe an extra 35/40
  15. I was same. At medical in London they do a visual check to see if you have scars from chicken pox (I didn’t as it was 35 yrs ago!) so they do a blood test and you get results a few days later. If you have the immunity antibodies from that, no further action needed. If not, you need to arrange a vax, locally. nothing to worry about either way though.
  16. think you should just pay @powerpuff your lawyer fee instead
  17. it says incomplete or inconsistent info the only thing I can see is a blank box for ‘province’. Have you entered Scotland or something similar in there (Aberdeenshire?)
  18. I think you’re more likely to be able to get in contact with Michael Jackson… Is it definitely not something else that’s causing the issue? All of those other address boxes are free text fields so shouldn’t have any issues with how or what you type.
  19. Try postcode with no gap AB158PU I seem to remember I had a similar issue on one form
  20. They only let you take a small bag (like a handbag/purse sized) plus they’re very strict on liquids incl make up etc. MUCH more strict than even a plane (I think 1/3 size of what you’re allowed on plane. I remember seeing maybe 30ml?). As previously said, why risk it/create a problem. Leave at hotel left luggage and you’ll have no issue at all.
  21. shouldn’t be an issue but there’s always a chance. Just make sure you have strong ties back home e.g. house rent, job etc and evidence. I visited every 2-3 months on ESTA (for c2 wks at a time, some work some vacation) and wasn’t an issue at all.
  22. I should add they’ll refuse it if you try hand things all together anyway plus you can’t know in advance exactly what they’ll ask to see.
  23. sounds perfect. They’ll have no issue with you taking things out as requested. I took one of those files with plastic sleeves in with each document in a separate one so I could see etc. worked perfectly and I was only asked for maybe 5 of them dont over think it! If you’ve got the docs, whatever makes it easy for you to find the requested one is perfect.
  24. if you look you’ll prob see “IV docs in CCD” written towards the bottom of your visa? Just above where it says about “serves as temporary i551” etc that means your docs are sent electronically - if you wanted some reassurance.
