    After arriving in the U.S. how long does it take to receive the 'Green Card'? If I plan to visit initially only for 2 weeks will I receive the green card by that time? If not received within those 2 weeks, during re-entry will I face any problem or the visa stamp in the passport will be enough to travel back to the U.S.? Kindly reply thank you

    Nope, passport was kept by the vo, and he said visa is approved.

    I had my interview today, visa officer mentioned it is approved. But after getting back home seeing the ceac status as 'administrative processing'. Also, got to see the limit reach of EB2 category. Getting tensed now. Will I get the visa printed this month? Visa did not mention me anything about limit reach.

    Consulate: Sydney Timeline update: I got the IL today 1st Aug 2024, PD: late Sep 2022, DQ: Mid July 2023 PD become current: Jan 2024, IL received: Early Aug 2024, Interview: Early September 2024. If there are any tips please share with me, hoping for the best at the interview, cheers

    nah mate, nothing yet. From a guesstimate of dq to il, I may get the IL in August, hoping for the best..

    I guess you can put your email to receiving the police certificate, yhen print out that and paper mail to nvc. I did the same for Aus police certificate and it was accepted by the nvc.

    I have been waiting since January 2024 after pd became current (DQed in July 2023) no update from the nvc/consulate yet, but saw here in visa journey some other candidates have had their eb2 interviews who are dqed in Feb2023

    I was DQed in July 2023, but my priority date only became current this year in late January 2024. Then received the very first sixty-day reminder email from NVC in January 2024. Called the consulate last week, the operator said they do not have any update and only NVC can update me through email

    No mate. Its been 3 months since PD become current, but no IL sent yet. I ve got the second 60 days reminder email from the NVC.

    I have received the first 60 days reminder emails after my priority date became current this month. But I got DQed mid last year and they mention the DQ date in the email. Not sure how it works.

    Anyone here from Australia got their interview letter for EB2 after PD becomes current in January 2024?

    Congrats. Which visa category is yours? I am waiting on EB2 which requires the priority date on visa bulletin to become and remain current for a visa interview
