I got a request for the DS-5535 today after verbal approval from officer early last month February. The Montreal consulate kept my documents and passport too. Odd part is no information was provided in the email requesting documents but just completing the form. What has been your experience with this?

Crazy Cat, I thought that may be the case. Just my way of checking I am not going crazy seeing people DQ'd after my date getting ILs already. Thank you for the information.

IR1: Documentarily qualified as of January 19th, 2023 with case sitting at NVC. I still haven't received an interview letter yet. Public inquiries seem to lead to the generic first come first served basis. Any suggestions on next steps?
