My husband had interview this morning at Islamabad embassy and officer said at end of interview that visa has been approved and he should expect the visa in 1 - 2 days but after an hour the CEAC updated his system and it shows "Administrative Processing" What should we do? Is there anything we can do or how long will be the wait? Has anyone had same experience?

For some reason officer said it's approved but now when I check website it says under Administrative processing.. does anyone know why this happen?

Alhamdulillah after a long time.. my husband Visa has been approved today. He had interview this morning and officer said it's approved. My question is how long it will take to receive an update from traveldoc about passport pick up now since office said 1 - 2 days but we just want to confirm?

If you are asking about Islamabad embassy.. They just released interview letter for January 2025 and they covered the date until October 5, 2023 for IR1/ IR5 category. You should expect an update probably in December 2024 or January 2025.

Assalam u alaikum Finally after a long wait we recieved interview letter. I’ve some questions regarding preparation. We have to update sponsor I-864 forms as well or only the tax documents. Is it only sponsor information that need to be updated or do we have to update mine as well (nothing changed) For US travel doc I tried to create an account but it always connect me to Algeria even if I go through the consulate website. Which other document is required? If someone can help that will will be really helpful. Thank you so much for all the help in advance

Does anyone know how long does it take for NVC to reply back with decision to expedite request? I emailed on Aug 22 and got first email that they will send it US embassy and will let me know the decision. It's been 5 days (3 business day and 2 weekend days) so I am just little confuse. Usually I heard they reply back on day or two. Also, is there a page or section for expedite process timeline or updates?
