Travel before US entry on K1 visa?

I currently live in London and my K1 visa has been approved and issued by the embassy here in the UK. As I’m Dutch, I’d like to visit my parents in the Netherlands one last time before I travel to the US. Am I allowed to fly from Amsterdam to enter the US or should I go from London?

So we have collated all the proof of income/assets for Form I-134, but a question arose as we were preparing the pack. For the beneficiary (me), do we need an employment verification letter too? Because as soon as I pass the interview, I would quit my job to move to the US. I have proof of other assets as required, just wondering as the form asks for my income, but it feels contradictory. Thanks!
