Hi has anyone received their travel document, work permit or SSN?

My son and i filed in March we got our biometrics appt a month apart son in June and mine was in July. They then received our medical mid October. Our status now says “taking longer than expected”

yeah along with I-130

Its a hard time for us all.. Yep our i485 says they accepted our medical on oct 25th and they will let us know their final decisions. our i-130 shows our processing time as 6months when it says “taking longer than expected” in September i filed 131 its so difficult to understand how this all works. some people who filed after me and my son have already received their green cards

Thank you for this. Its been difficult being stuck in 1 place my dad was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. I so badly want to go home😢

Hi VJ Does anyone know how to contact someone in USCIS weather its by email or phone. I have recently sent my medical off which they received. My progressing time went from “ taking longer than expected” to 6months again. My son has a lot of appointments back in UK (we are currently in the US) i just want them to issue a travel documents so i can take him.

Hi VJ🙂 I now this thread probably does exist but I just cant seem to find it. If theres one already created please could you kindly point me to the right direction.. My husband filed for my son and myself back in March 2023 (we’re both British citizens).. My son received his biometric appointment and mine followed a month later. I’ve kept an eye out on our progress and theres a month difference between our progressing time. I-130 update is they are actively reviewing our case and nothing needs to be done and the same goes for i-485. Is anyone else in a similar boat as us? Or is there anyone that have received travel documents, social security or even interview date? If so how long after your biometric was this? Thank you in advance!
