Hi all! Apologies for the potentially stupid question, just trying to dot i's and cross t's before submitting our K-1 visa petition!
On form I-129F, I'm required to submit my fiancé's name and address in his native alphabet (Arabic).
I don't speak Arabic, so I asked my fiancé to complete this section for me. Would this qualify him as a "preparer" (or "translator")? Verbiage on I-129F instructions indicates:
Reading this leads me to believe that perhaps he would need to identify himself as a preparer...but at the same time, most of the verbiage pertaining to form "preparers" suggests that someone else completed the petition on my behalf. I've completed the petition, he just assisted with the part that was in his alphabet.
Maybe I'm just overthinking, has anyone else had a similar circumstance?
