    Hi,

    I need some help. I received the NVC letter on July 2023 and the case on CEAC site shows "Ready" since August 2023. 

    We have not received any email from the US Embassy in Mumbai (Appointment Letter/Instructions). I filed a DS-160 form 1 week ago. 

    When should I expect any communication from the US Embassy or do I need to continue a different process?

    My brother is helping me with I 134 as a joint sponsor. However, his situation is a little complicated. He is self-employed, but pays himself wages so he has dual income from wages and business. He files a joint tax return with his wife. When I'm filling out the section the "financial information" section, I will list him, his wife, and his two kids. I don't know what to put for "Contribution to beneficiary annually" for him and his wife (its a joint tax return). Should I put anything for his wife because that makes her another sponsor? What so I put for "Total Income". The same as the tax transcripts? But that includes both wages and business profits (some of the businesses are under his wife's name). I'm definitely confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm sorry. I'm a little confused. Our application recently turned to "Ready" status. I thought we needed to wait for a welcome letter/email from the US embassey in mumbai before getting started. Is that not the case? If not, what are the next steps?

    Nevermind. Figured out how to check. Our case is in transit as well. Wow. I wasn't expecting that.

    Congrats to everyone whose in transit! Question: I recieved my case number. How do I look at the status of our case? I'm assuming I don't need an invoice number. I also recieved an email saying that the nvc recieved the application and will forward to the embassey. Does that just mean the application was recieved by nvc or was sent to the embassey? Thanks for any guidance!

    Hi, everyone! Just wanted to share. Our NOA1 was July 7, 2022 and our case was approved today, July 7, 2023. One year later.
