I guess I just had to rant a bit last night to break the curse… we are in transit as well as of this morning and the welcome letter came in too!

Hi all, nice to see everyone here. We got NOA2 on 7/5/2023, then total radio silence from NVC. we did two inquiries (8/10 and 8/25) and found that our case was made on 8/25 at NVC (used the Julian calendar method from these forums to decipher the case number). Despite that, it STILL has not been shipped and appears to have missed this week’s shipment as well. We have not gotten a welcome letter although it appears from the forums that these only arrive once it is In Transit now. Our NOA2 also has an expiration of Nov 4, which makes me nervous with how long they are taking. anyway, hopefully others are having more luck and that we all make it through soon. I did not think that 2+ months later I would still be waiting for the smallest logistical hurdle to be overcome by this agency.

I am also waiting for the nvc case file creation. I found this site when looking to submit an inquiry: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html and noticed they update this page at least a few times a week. We got NOA2 on July 6 2023, so, I am not quite in range to submit an inquiry yet.

Long time lurker and first time poster, hi everyone. My fiancee and I applied on July 5 2022, and just received our NOA2 today a little over one year later! I did not receive any text/email/etc despite having filed the form to hear back that way, but we checked a few times today and just saw it now. Hope others hear soon too!
