New to the forum, forgive me if this post is in the wrong place. I'm active duty military currently stationed in Belgium until the end of 2024. My wife is South African and currently working in the Netherlands on a work visa until the end of August and we are starting our command sponsorship process so she can live with me the remainder of my time in Belgium. With that in mind I don't know where we need to file our I-130 forms/packet whether that's in the US, at the embassy in Belgium when/if she lives with me, or back in South Africa. Knowing how long the process takes, my goal is to have this done ASAP so we can move back to the states together. If anyone has advice or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
