  1. RFE was for I-864. They didn't pay any attention to my verification of income letter for my pension. Said they needed more info, so they got 12 months of Pension Pay Stubs, an updated verification letter indicating the monthly amount, lifetime benefit. Also sent them 12 months of bank statements for all my checking and savings accounts as well as my Roth IRAs. My retirement income is only partially taxed so the Total income box on the Tax transcripts does not tell the whole story. I sent them the last 3 years 1099R's so they could see the income and sent a Letter of Explanation as far as my circumstances. I make over 100k a year from my Pension and it's not an annuity like they probably thought and not only a once a year withdrawal. That's why I sent them everything but the kitchen sink. All in all I sent over 400 pages. I currently just picked up a job, so I sent them that verification of emoyment letter as well as listing my assets. Now processing it, so we will see what occurs.
  2. Not true. You might want to look at this: https://constitution.findlaw.com/amendment14/annotation15.html Someone who is impeached could be disqualified from holding public office in the future if they are convicted, and Congress applies such a punishment. But this is separate from disqualification under the 14th Amendment.
  3. You might want to look at this with an open mind and from middle ground. https://www.newsweek.com/supreme-court-ironclad-argument-trump-colorado-case-sidney-blumenthal-1855528 175 The Supreme Court will likely face difficult legal maneuvering if its justices wish to return Donald Trump to the ballot in Colorado, a legal analyst argued, given the "ironclad" originalist argument at the heart of the ruling.
  4. Just took a look at my wife's cases in the App, amazingly it must have updated yesterday and they now show they received the RFE. It also indicates the AOS case has been restarted as far as processing and current step 3 shows 2 months remaining. Now the EAD processing has gone to the status saying "taking longer than expected to process". From reviewing those of you who have had the same thing pop up for the EAD, it never was processed and the GC was eventually issued several weeks later, or am I wrong? Just trying to be positive in my thoughts. Happy Holidays to you all.
  5. Thank you, I think I figured it out. They approved the EAD but because they are still working on the AOS they use the term Stand Alone approval fir the EAD so as to not make a hust Approved statement which could make it appear all wass approved.
  6. Just a question? Did you send all the paperwork together and at the same time to USCIS. This approval says Stand Alone. My wife's cases show concurrent filing.
  7. The Colorado Ruling Changed My Mind (msn.com) (excerpt) And no stronger is Justice Carlos Samour’s suggestion that Trump was somehow deprived of due process by the proceedings in the district court. This was a full-blown, five-day trial, with sworn witnesses and lots of documentary exhibits, all admitted under the traditional rules of evidence before a judicial officer, who then made extensive written findings of fact under a stringent standard of proof. Every day in this country, people go to prison—for years—with a lot less process than Trump got here. As for the expeditiousness of the proceedings, that’s in the very nature of election disputes: Recall, once again, Florida in 2000. And Samour’s suggestion that Trump was denied a fair trial because he didn’t have a jury is almost embarrassing: Any first-year law student who has taken civil procedure could tell you that election cases are not even close to the sort of litigation to which a Seventh Amendment jury-trial right would attach.
  8. I could say I am almost always right, yet my wife will tell you different. Every constitutional scholar has there own opinion and view. What it comes down to as I said is the letter of the law and the reasoning for it at the time. Twisting it to fit anything else is incorrect.
  9. How often has Dershowitz been correct in his views. All laws are up for personal views but it will take the US Supreme Court to look at the way the Amendments were put in place and look at the reasoning behind them, not a personal view. Personal views and opinions are why this country is in the issue it is currently in. Letter of the law is what it comes down to and not an opinion.
  10. Better do some research. The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments both contain a Due Process Clause, although the Fourteenth Amendment applies explicitly to the states. https://www.archives.gov/milestone-documents/14th-amendment#:~:text=The right to due process, was submitted to the states.
  11. For those that received an RFE and returned what was asked, how long after your tracking showed it was delivered did you see a change on the system showing it was received. My wife's RFE was received over a week ago, I have the green postcard receipt now and USPS shows it was delivered, but yet there is no status change in the case......so frustrated and concerned at this point the case has been put on the back burner. EAD status now back to 2 weeks from 1 week for the 3rd time.....ugh. Guess with the holidays we may not see anything until next year. Congratulations to all who have been successful.
  12. Of those already approved in our group, how many were being processed through the Lee's Summit,MO USCIS Office. That's where both the AOS and EAD as well as AP for my wife are being processed through, and yet we live in Southern California.....down to 1 week again on EAD, and still not showing the RFE for the I-864 has been received yet my USPS green tracking post card was returned....
  13. EAD in myprogress has gone back to 4 weeks as of this morning. RFE package was received last week according to the tracking on USPS for the I-864. However, under the myprogress tab does not show it was received, still waiting..... looks like my wife will be waiting along time.... Congratulations to those who have been successful so far.
  14. Still showing 2 weeks on my wife's EAD processing. So it went from 2 weeks to 1 week and back to 2 weeks. It's been 2 weeks since went back to 2 weeks. Nothing shows anything else. No change either in the AOS after they received the RFE back with all of the documents and a new I-864.......BTW way it cost $25 dollars to send the box of documents to them. 12 months of bank statements, pay stubs, 401K ROTH IRA and everything but the kitchen sink. I am so frustrated.
  15. Okay, with the new cases reappearing in the USCIS Profile, I have just completed a Cover letter indicating that Section 8 Public charge questions 61-68 have been corrected. I had the wife initial each change on the pages and included them in the scan that I am submitting through the on-line system. Need to mail out the RFE paperwork for the I-864, its 150 pages in total......sad, but I took the kitchen sink approach. Looks like our package was sent to Lee's Summit, MO. Why it was not sent to the California Service center is anyone's guess.
  16. Systems back working correctly as far as showing cases in the account. EAD has now gone back to showing 2 weeks from the 1week last week.. AOS for I-485 now says 3 months in the my progress....don't know what to believe anymore.
  17. Congratulations. I hope my wife's arrives soon since last week it said 1 week in the processing of it. Waiting on one more piece of documentation from a new employer I started working for on December 1st (A verification of employment letter) so I can add it to the requested I-864 documents they sent the RFE for. I know its a new job but the income from it alone satisfies the 125% poverty level threshold. So if they still have issues with my Pension, and the 12 months of bank statements and the 3 years of 1099R's I have for them, the additional kitchen sink info should pass the test....keeping my fingers crossed. On another note, I added her to the house bills (Power &Water) and the bank accepted that in order to add her to the accounts. She was happy because her debit card will have the frozen characters on it...lol
  18. Just spoke to a Live agent using Ask Emma. I asked about the cases disappearing from the USCIS case list in my wife's profile. I advised them I had checked the USCIS My Progress tab last week and the cases were there but on Friday night they disappeared. The agent said it is a known issue and they are working on-it. Asking for a new online access code or trying to create a new account will not work. The agent assured me the cases were still being processed and at this point if anything was needed they would send an email. The agent apologized for the inability to follow the cases or add information using the update tab.
  19. I have as well as logging out and logging back in. I requested another online access code so I can add the cases back into the profile....
  20. So I checked the USCIS page last night and this morning. The added AOS I-485, the EAD and the AP cases are now missing? What do I do. I tried to add them back in with the given info and access code but nothing...
  21. Just checked the USCIS My Progress tab, it now says 1 week for EAD approval.
  22. My wife applied for her CA. ID card. It never arrived and after a call to DMV we were told it was because her I-94 was expiring and the other NOA documents would not suffice. Was told she needed her EAD card....insanity. tried to add her to the Bank accounts and was told the same thing, didn't matter that she was on the household bills and had a SSN.
  23. Checking status with the MyProgress tab on the USCIS page after logging in shows 2 weeks for processing the EAD card. Has anyone received there's in the mail yet.
  24. You would think they would send 1 RFE for all issues they want corrected....
