  1. Have you tried to reach NVC via public inquiry? That would be my first step. Also it depends on if your PD is current or not.
  2. Has anyone received an interview schedule at the Mumbai consulate for an EB1 (Employment) based petition visa recently, particularly if your Documentarily Qualified (DQ) date falls between June '23 to August '23 and the Priority Date (PD) is prior to 2017? If so, could you please share your DQ date and confirm if you have received the Interview Letter (IL)? I'm particularly interested in gathering information about DQ applications up to August 2023 and IL status. In my case, my DQ date is July 20th, '23, but my PD was not current until the recent Visa Bulletin in October '23. Coincidentally, with the release of the October '23 bulletin, my PD became current. I observed that NVC sent out some ILs for Mumbai around September 15th, but all those ILs pertained to the IR1/CR1 category. I am specifically seeking information related to the Employment-based category. Thanks
  3. Just wanted to update here that today i got a new case number along with a confirmation from NVC that my case has been successfully transferred
  4. Thank you for your kind response. Yes, My PD, Sept'15 was current till Aug'23 bulletin came and moved dates back to '12 - however for EB1, I am hopeful it will go back to '22 in Oct and I will be eligible again. Good Luck with your interview, and please post here back your experience so we can learn from it. ๐Ÿ™‚
  5. Can anyone help me with my question please My DQ date for EB1 is 22nd July '23. Just wanted to see what would be rough timeline for interview and what DQ date currently are they interviewing. Would be interesting to join if there are any groups available. Thanks ๐Ÿ™
  6. Based on the suggestion above, i sent email to NVC via public form and they responded they have received my request and its under review. I am hoping they will grant me permission and my file will be moved to embassy i have requested. I do hold passport and citizenship for the country i have made request for so hopefully it will be approved. ๐Ÿคž I will keep my updates here just so it can be helpful to others. Process wise its pretty straightforward, just use public inquiry form and provide documents immishok mentioned above in the forum
  7. immishok - You have saved so many hours for research, doubts and concerns as i am about to exercise the same but i was a bit worried. Your detailed explanation has given me confidence that i should request NVC to transfer my case from X embassy to Y ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™
  8. Wow - thats insane. Why are they not processing employment based category? Just a rhetorical outburst. Where did you find details that folks DQ'ed in Jan'23 haven't received IL yet?
  9. Hi my petition is applied under E1 category and waiting for IL from Montreal - can anyone suggest if my DQ is June'23 - when can i expect interview invitation? thanks
  10. I got response from NVC that i am DQ'ed
  11. Correct - just provided copies, and not originals. Trying to stay positive, hopefully will get DQ'ed soon without much hassle. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for your response.

  13. Thanks everyone for discussing and providing such useful info. I was stuck at a point where i filled out DS-260, paid fee but wasn't able to figure out how do i send them Civil Documents. Based on the info provided in this thread, i was able to get clear directions ( which my company's lawyer should have done, after all they are charging $$ but anyhow... ) Thanks again everyone
