We have gone through I-130 process and just got the visa for wife and two kids. (below 18 years old) they have I-551 stamp on their foreign passports. Question is how do I apply certificate of citizenship for my two kids ? What process involved ?

As a sponsor how much income we need show according to poverty guidelines (as a percentage )?

To be more specific. I am referring to the public schools in Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (Isd) in Cypress, Texas. Sampson Elementary (4.9 Miles) is the best rated school. But the closest one is the Robison Elementary (3.6Miles).

I would like to enroll my two children to a high rated elementary school in my school district. Can we select the school we want to enroll them in ? The closest one is not rated good.

I think 4 months perfectly ok. This was about 5 months after I got my GC I went back to the country where I came from, and I stayed about 5 and half months there. When I come back the immigration officer Chinese looking lady asked me why I stayed this long. I said I had some private work. she did not like my answer and threatened me if she wants, she can get my green card back and sent me back if she wants. And more she told me if I want to stay in USA stay here and if you want to stay in Sri Lanka stay there and don't come back. She can say that and get my green card coz at that time I didn't had much ties to the USA. But since you are her husband living in USA, I think they cant turn her back. Coz after the above incident I stayed about 1 year developed my ties with USA and went back to Sri Lanka and stayed there about 4 months every year (just to pass the winter season in USA) and I had no issues no questions asked by anyone.

Hi, congratulations! I have few questions if you can answer. Why did they ask your husband to provide proof of domicile at the interview ? I am also a petitioner and I have been living in Sri Lanka since 2012. NVC asked me to supply proof of domicile and I have given my Mortgage Statement (USA) and Business Bank Statements (USA) and brief explanation that I am planning to go back to USA with my family once the visa issued. NVC has accepted it. So now my wife waiting for an interview letter. I am wondering if they will ask me to go back to USA to establish domicile ?

Yes I have my US business tax documents, Business Bank accounts and Personal Bank Account in USA.

But I have a house mortgaged in USA and currently one of my friend is living there and he is co-sponsoring my wife. I am planning to go with my family and start living there. I petitioned for my two children and wife. So, I have 3 separate cases opened. Since I am a US citizen my two biological children will be us citizens upon entry. I just submitted my wife's civil documents to NVC. What should I do for two children? can I submit their IV doc to NVC now or should I wait till wife gets her visa stamp? We are planning to immigrate together.

Hi, As far as I know this is normal. Sometimes administrator processing takes long time. No one will be able to tell when it is going to be finished. May I know after your documents approved by NVC how many days it takes for you to get an interview appointment ?

Not yet. I just Paid and submitted AOS docs only. I paid the fees for DS-260. But not yet submitted it DS-260. coz I want to delay the process. NVC processing time purely depends on the respective embassy right ? if its within 3-6 months its too soon for us. I though it will take 12-24 months

Hi, I have a question. Last week I submitted my and my joint sponsor's AOS documents. I just got to know that after NVC documents clearance the embassy interview will be scheduled in 3 to 6 months. That is too soon for us. Coz we still have many things to rearrange here before we move to USA. So we have to delay the embassy interview process for about 6 months. Because of that I didn't submit the DS-260 form. It is the right thing to do right ? pls advice.
